Sushi nunu

We came here on a Sunday night at 7pm for a birthday dinner. The place was packed and but still very calm and welcoming. The decor is very tasteful as well. The hostess had us sitting down in under 30 minutes. Onto the food. Everything was so well prepared and taste delicious. I love that each sushi was well dressed and presented. Flavors were just right and every bite was WORTH IT. overall this looks like a typical sushi joint inside the suburbs... but you are getting the most gastronomical experience not like any other ones around here. Also plenty of parking. Bonus. My next comparison to them is Uchi or Nobu, but with a less pretentious vibe and more refined to having comfortable guest experience and great quality delicious food.

Came here for a sushi fix, and it did not disappoint. However, I do believe the price is a little on the high side. Atmosphere/Ambiance - 5/5 - Not too big inside, but that is the norm in my opinion. They do have really good lighting.Staff - 5/5 - Friendly and helpful. Overall, they had really great service. Food/Drink - Ordered the following:Tuna Sashimi - 4/5 - 4 pieces for about $15. Not bad.Salmon Sashimi - 4/5 - same price. I preferred this over the Tuna.Salmon Belly - 5/5 - 4 for $16. I recommend this.Super Toro Roll - 5/5 - Really enjoyed the soy mustard sauce on it.Karaage - 4/5 - Nothing special other than Japanese fried chicken, which one can never go wrong with.Overall, this is a nice little spot, but for a heavy eater like me, this is a place that I will only come to on special occasions.

First of all, the staff were friendly and very attentive. Top notch service.Secondly, the food. Oh my god. Everything was fresh and delicious. Very well plated and tasted incredible. Do yourself a favor and try the Miso Hamachi Kama from the small plates menu. Incredible.The restaurant is small but it didn't feel crowded. Comfortable seating and lighting.We'll be back for sure!

Came back to sushi Nunu last night and still believe this is some of the greatest sushi in the McKinney/prosper area . The waitresses are sweet and the restaurant is clean and bright. Their fish is superior quality - and you just can't go wrong here.MUST HAVES : Super toro, negi Hama, machi maki.If you like hot appetizers, the shrimp shumai are delicious - love the sauce they come with , they also have a delicious wagyu bao bun. You can't go wrong with anything you have here .

Really good sushi and food overall. Would recommend this place. I really like the black spider roll and the udon soup, great flavor.

I was visiting the step daughter in Prosper from Los Angeles, and we decided to try Texas sushi.Good gracious I'm glad we did.Fresh, delicious, and inventive, we loved EVERYTHING we ate here and I'm honestly disappointed we didn't stay long enough to go back and try other dishes. On par with the style of California fusion sushi, this place has a great staff, amazing food and the price was very reasonable for the quality. I cannot recommend this spot enough. If I ever go back to Texas, I will be coming back here.

Food was wonderful and the service was great. Nice vibe, even though it was smaller than I anticipated.

I have been here a handful of times, the fish is so fresh and amazing quality and the service is lovely as well. I came here for lunch one time and the quality of fish on one of my dishes was not as it normally is and the customer service. The manager provided was so generous and unexpected. When I brought it to his attention I would absolutely come back regardless, but this was a very nice surprise that made me feel valued. Thank you!

My daughter wanted sushi so we found Sushi Nunu in yelp since it was close. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated as there were quite a few people there. There are several tables but it's not very big inside. Our server was friendly & the sushi came quickly. We ordered a few sushi rolls and dumplings. Everything was good. I forgot to take photos, and by the time I remembered, it was almost done. We'd go back again.

Actually the best sushi I've had in Frisco. Get the spider roll! I tried the saba which was a bit too cold/icey probably because I got there right when they opened, I will have to try it again next time. Very impressed overall
