This is our go to weekly sushi spot. The sushi rolls are the right size (unlike neighborhood staple sushi kadan where I'm not sure how to get that portion into my mouth and it stresses me out). The price is fair but I wouldn't call it inexpensive. They do have weekly roll specials that change. The service is always prompt and polite as well. We usually get the:Nekko roll: awesome onions on it and sauce. Just makes me happy.Baked salmon roll: the salmon is the perfect amount of doneness..I have a weakness for baked rollsUnagi donburi: nice amount, competent executionNegi Toro roll: the fish quality is so soft and delicious.

My review is solely off of the fact that I never got any service when I came here. This is the second time I've come to this restaurant and having this issue. To be very blunt, there's not enough staff here and too much to go orders. The wait staff themselves took our drink order and we sat there for 15 minutes without our drinks. As the restaurant filled up, we were just ignored even though we sat directly in front of the sushi bar.

There aren't any sushi places around this area so we happened to spot by and it was not bad. I got the sake (salmon) don which came with miso soup. I was a bit disappointed with the thin salmon cut. The proportion was off with a lot of rice leftover but I will say the fish seemed fresh. I also liked how it came with pickled onions and plenty of wasabi/ginger. Overall, a great spot to enjoy if craving sushi!

Not impressed after the first visit. Service was poor. We were seated in a hidden section not even the waiters could see us. Missed opportunity for a second tokkuri. The portions felt small. The song 'Party in the USA' should not be heard at a sushi restaurant. We couldn't bear to stick around for dessert.

A hidden gem in Carrollton! First time here and was super impressed with the food in terms of quality, quantity, and price.We ordered their lunch special 2 roll combos of the spicy California roll and the tempura shrimp roll, and I also ordered the salmon teriyaki bento box.All their specials come with some miso soup and salad, which was really good! I loved the dressing a lot, it was like a sesame ginger(?) dressing. The sushi was also pretty good, well sized with good flavor, especially for the price!The bento box was also super nice, the teriyaki sauce was drizzled all over the salmon, the tempura was fried well and delicious, and of course the sushi was good too!I would say in terms of food this was pretty good, but the quality and amount you get for the price is what really made this stand out for me.Service is good and fast, and the interior is clean and nice, not too fancy.Will definitely return!

Found this place by accident and we were pleasantly surprised. Came in around noon on a Saturday and got a table just before it started to fill up. Ordered the mixed tempura to start which was very nice, light and served very quickly. I had 2 sushi rolls after that which came well before my wife's bento box. That was the only negative aspect. Fish was fresh, my wife's bento box looked amazing and there was a lot in that box. Service was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean and well maintained. We will be back
