Sushi Avenue NRH

Fantastic fast casual sushi restaurant. It's so rare to find a sushi spot that is both affordable AND has quality fish but this place has both! The ingredients are fresh, the combos are perfect and the rolls are good even to go.My favorites are the Sunrise Roll, OMG Roll, Geisha Roll and the classic salmon roll since they give thick pieces of salmon. I highly recommend this spot!

This is an order at counter and pay, sit down and they'll deliver the food. Food was ok--but i loved the soup. Service was quite slow for dine in; they seem to be busy prepping pick up/to-go orders that they neglected they have dine in customers. You want water, you go get it yourself in a corner. Not really a fan of this. I've reviewed a bunch of Japanese restaurants and sushi places (been to Japan too several times) I probably won't be back here anytime soon tho it is less than 2 miles from my house.Ambience was also ok. Small dining area.

This place is fantastic! It's more like a sushi cafe than a fancy sushi joint but it has the same quality product. It is a counter order and pickup and BYOB place, which in my opinion makes it perfect for a less expansive fun date . It's not get dressed up and order random fish you've never heard of and spend $500 for 2, which is hard to find now a days with good sushi. Standard quality tuna, salmon yellowtail, all the usual suspects but with some very intriguing rolls I will dive into next time. They don't close between lunch and dinner like most sushi places, so it's perfect for a late lunch or early dinner. Also, I would put the chefs salmon belly special sushi against any spot in DFW.

Sushi Avenue is a welcome new spot in N.R.H. in the Kroger shopping center, not to far from NRH20 and the coming soon Peppa Pig theme park that is taking over the mini-golf place. We went for lunch at the time they opened, and the two folks working were very welcoming. My husband was able to find a specialty roll he could actually order, he doesn't do crab which is in most specialty rolls, as well as a couple of his normal go to options. I stuck with the usually veggie friendly options. The staff was friendly enough to bring us Miso on the house while we waited for our food, which came out fresh and promptly. Prices are generally reasonable for what you get here, the veggie side possibly within a dollar or so of where I normally go for sushi. We for sure plan to add them to the, we need a quick convenient bite to eat on a night that we are to tired to cook after getting our groceries.

Craving sushi but didn't want to get all dressed up and go to a fancy sushi place. Really glad we came across this local spot. It's small with casual seating and you order at the counter. Sushi and sashimi really great and good portion sizes. I'm a sucker for combo/ bento boxes for dinner because those are usually only offered during lunch times and I love to try a little bit of everything. This place offers bentos and combos during dinner time! I'll be back for sure. Service was good too. Best part is they are BYOB. Enjoy!

So glad to see Sushi Avenue NRH made #1 on Yelp for Sushi in NRH. Our favorites are the Sushi and Sashimi Combo, the Pretty Women roll and Geisha Roll. Sushi Chef, Scott, is meticulous and only serves a high quality product.

Super tasty food! I really loved their speciality roll and the sizes of portions were good as well. It's more of a to go place versus a sit down place which is fine. It is a go to the counter and order and get your own water and then they deliver the food if you decide to sit inside. I would definitely go again but order to go this time.

This space used to be Namoo. I'm not sure when they opened, but glad we tried it earlier. Very nice staff. Clean. Best of all, great food. Worth a try

Sunrise roll and Louisiana roll were so yummy! Sexy roll, and red mountain yummy as well! Wonton soup was nice on a really cold day, and yummy! Hidden gem!

PLEASE come and treat your self to an amazing sushi experience! The sushi is top quality and the service is just as amazing. We were seated right away and got to know the team, Tina, Chase and Scott were absolutely friendly and will be more than happy to give you their suggestions if you are struggling between all the amazing options they have! The place is very chill if you are looking for a nice evening out or a late night snack! If you get the chance, please take a few minutes and chat with the team, very inspiring to hear their story and their overall experience in this business! I posted this review a little late.
