Co-Owner of R & J's told us he opened up a breakfast spot in Louisville and to check it out. We were seated and served right away.No surprise that this setting was completely different from the bar setting. Minimalist and bright. There are booths and tables. They would be good for a group of 6 max, maybe 8.I've had the food over and R&js so I knew anything I picked here would be equal or better quality. Please please please try the corned beef hash. It comes with two sides. I got the chicken apple sausage and it's everything I thought it would be. Not too salty and maybe a little tangy. Defiantly great for people like me who love sausage but feel guilty about how salty it can be. The price is also super cost effective. For 3 people the bill was a little over $40 dollars. While the food is very good, the service has been atrocious the past several times we have come in. Before the ownership change, the service was slow but tolerable. After the change, the wait staff has mostly consisted of servers that speak minimal English. My husband and I have gotten the vibe that they avoid the English speaking tables because they are scared of messing up. Because of their avoidance, service is obviously very slow - sometimes taking 30 minutes to get water/drinks. We've kept giving Sunview Cafe chances because the food is delicious once you get it...but we probably won't be back for a while. If you have a lot of time to kill, try this place out. Otherwise, find somewhere else to eat.

Drove up for a Saturday breakfast and saw an empty parking lot and a handwritten sign on the door that they are closed due to new ownership and no date on when they will reopen.

Used to like this place, but it's pretty sad when you are seated and the wait staff completely ignores you. People who were seated after us had been served their food when we walked out. As we left, our presence was not acknowledged at all.

Incredible breakfast place tucked away on 3040 or Round Grove or whatever the acceptable name is. While there are no shortage of options - the basics - the traditional Eggs, bacon, hash browns & pancakes? Muy Bien. Its incredible the number of places that cant get that right and this place does it in spades. 100 percent worth it - and the coffee is good.

Worse experience ever. My boyfriend and I were seated and we were waiting for about 20 minutes for someone to take our order and no one ever came up. They were literally just walking back and forth looking at us not even trying to take our order. Another party came in and they took their drink order right away! I was stunned. We decided to leave and go somewhere else. Do not recommend this place at all

This morning was our first time eating here and sadly our last. We had the fried chicken and biscuit dish which left a lot to be desired. There was very little flavor. The gravy especially was runny and bland. The kids had waffles and pancakes and it was all very standard. Nothing special but pricey. We tried the French toast as well and it was $10 for two slices of plain bagged white bread dredged and cooked in a flavorless egg mixture. Prices are outrageous for the quality of food. I gave 2 stars because the atmosphere is fine for a breakfast place and the staff was welcoming. Hopefully they can turn things around.

Unfortunately, it's no longer the same brunch place that it once was. Since the new owners took over, the food's quality has fallen. The menu has been reduced from its former version by half. They now specialize in Venezuelan cuisine, their Venezuelan menu has greater options available than their original Sunview menu.

Warning for people looking to eat here to save them time driving. As of 1/27/2023 the restaurant is closed. I left 3 stars because the sign at the front doesnt mention when it will reopen but google and apple maps still advertise this place as open
