Ribs were evenly smoked and flavorful, but a little dry for my taste, collard greens had enough pork in for the saltiness.
Wow! Showin Off Platter really did just that!!!

Met my daughter here for lunch and everything was delicious. I had brisket and pulled pork with mac-n-cheese and creamed corn which was more Mexican corn to me than country style cream corn but it was delicious!!! I want to say they put chimichuri in it, don't pass on this item, unique and craveable. My daughter had the Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage sandwich, it was had a nice flavor and not a lot of heat. At the table they offer 3 BBQ sauces, Original, Bourbon Whiskey and Habanero for those who want to spice things up. I'm glad we gave this place a try and hope you'll do the same, it's worth it...can't wait to take my wife.

When I first landed in Texas, I was on a mission: hunt down the best barbecue joints in the state. This city girl had some pretty wild expectations, imagining every spot to be tucked away in old gas stations and timeworn shacks straight out of the Old West. Spoiler alert: most of these places are shiny, new, and probably have marketing teams that know more about social media algorithms than brisket. Still, I make it a point to check out the top-rated spots--but my heart? It belongs to the rough-around-the-edges gems. And this place? It's one of those hidden treasures. Sure, the outside area is still under construction, but who in their right mind wants to brave the Texas summer heat at 101 degrees? Certainly not me!Inside, the vibe is just right: menu up on the board, and every time a new customer walks in, the whole crew shouts, "Hello! Welcome in!" Some folks even get the coveted "more cowbell" shout-out. It's the kind of place where you feel like you've stumbled onto something special. Now, if you're scouring Yelp for this spot, there are a couple of things you should know: they've recently axed the turkey sandwich and the Cuban-inspired brisket sandwich from the menu. But before you despair, they've added a sausage sandwich made with bratwurst on a house-made pretzel bun that's already calling my name for my next visit. This time around, we went for the 3-meat special to share (pro tip: check in on Yelp and snag yourself a free soda). Our choices? Sausage, sliced fatty brisket, and pulled pork, with sides of potato salad--ask to have it heated and it turns into a delightful hash brown casserole situation--and elote, which was just okay. Next time, I'll be going for the beans. Now, here's a heads-up: corn muffins are a lunch-only affair. I was eagerly anticipating those homemade rolls, but they only make their grand entrance after 5 PM. As for the meats, the brisket was the clear winner, followed by the sausage and pulled pork. The heated potato salad? Surprisingly delicious. The kitchen is right behind the cashier, with zero barriers, so you can watch the crew slice and dice your order with precision. This place also has a reputation for its pecan pie, and I couldn't help but notice a steady stream of pulled pork nachos flying out of the oven--clearly a popular choice. Our 3-meat combo was just the right amount for two--no leftovers except for one of the two corn muffins. The service? Extremely friendly. And let's not forget the bathrooms--spotless, just like they should be.All in all, this place is a barbecue lover's dream--authentic, unpretentious, and downright delicious.

Yep. God bless Texas. This was great BBQ. Brisket super tender and the sausage was very flavorful. Wished the ribs were a little more tender but that's just my personal preference. The service and the care here is unmatched. Super welcoming and inviting atmosphere, gave us an extra cornbread and broski straight walked up to our table and just plopped down some ribs for the vibes. Super good meal, I'll be back for sure.

Came out here from Elgin, Tx tonight to try the brisket. Staff was awesome. Every single person working there was pleasant to communicate with. The food was absolutely worth the wait. I was lucky enough to get there as they were running out of fatty brisket and they were kind enough to sell me one of the last cuts. Brilliant flavor. Tender AF. Much better than most BBQ joints I've been to. The pulled pork was actually smoked which was appreciated. I'm surprised at how many places don't smoke their pork butt. The pork ribs here are big and delicious. I typically prefer savory BBQ over sweet but the sweetness in these pork ribs was not overpowering. No complaints. Just praises. One of the things I liked most about this place is they had multiple green sides. Austin BBQ rarely has anything greener than cole slaw. Mostly just a bunch of starches. This place had fried okra and collard greens. Okra was good and well appreciated. Collards were great. They had a flavor profile that I'm not used to having with greens and it was fantastic. It was my first time to try smoked cabbage. I have no other experiences to compare it with but I can say it was good enough to finish. Overall this was an experience I'd definitely come back for. I didn't realize they had desserts or I would have ordered a couple. I already have a reason to come back. Now I have two.

I try not to review the same places twice but I have to for Sullivan Texas BBQ! Stopped in because I needed another Nacho fix and once again they were awesome! We also had a combo plate with Brisket, Corn, Mac and Cheese, and Collard Greens. Those Collard Greens are phenomenal, full of flavor and perfectly tender. Both entrees came with a delicious house made roll and cinnamon butter that we an amazing dessert. I did see a sweet lady handing our Cinnamon Rolls. She ran out just before our table, but she really just saved me from shoving that cinnamon roll in when I was already full. :). I will be back for sure and I hope I can get one next time. As always Mr. Sullivan was working the tables and he exudes Texas hospitality. Highly Reccommended!

Great customer service. The owner was in the front of the house the majority of the time, employees stopped by our table several times to make sure everything was okay. The bbq was good, we had a variety of food from the menu. The kids meal included ice cream sundaes that were made table side for each kiddo. The location is under construction with a construction fence around the front and plywood on the windows, the location is open.

Was craving bbq and saw this place. A little family owned bbq in Lewisville. It was packed for Saturday night dinner. They had live music which gave it a vibe. Ended up ordering the 1 meat combo with 2 sides. I order the prime brisket with a side of mac and cheese and fries. My cousin ordered the half rack of ribs with mac and cheese. Everything was so delicious. Comes in huge portions. The owners were so nice and was giving out free and hot cinnamon rolls and ribs. You'll for sure leave here so full.
