Soy Cowboy

Had date night on Saturday and this spot was beautiful. Service was amazing. Our food and drinks came out quickly and we were checked on by our waiter and other staff walking by. We had the lobster wonton, hamachi chili, fried rice, orange chicken and a salmon shrimp tempura roll--I recommend all of this! Our favorite was the lobster wonton! Least was the snow crab.The only thing to be mindful of is that if you order water it's only bottle $8 each. And once they will replace it without asking. We didn't say anything just because we didn't want to make a big deal but just a heads up.

Okay Soy Cowboy, I see you and I like you and damnit I wish you were open for lunch with a sliiightly more affordable menu just so I could justify visiting more often. In the meantime this will be more of a special occasion spot for me. Or maybe an every now and then cocktail and appetizer spot. A sushi roll and a glass of wine. The menu is really lovely and the gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan items are clearly marked. The food here is pan-Asian, so it's got a little of everything.. sushi, tempura, robatayaki, hibachi, teppanyaki, and Korean barbeque. At least according to their website! I'm looking forward to slowly working my way through every gluten free item available! But to start, I went with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and the Truffle Kanpachi Roll: spicy salmon, shiso, cucumber, puffed rice, and cilantro truffle dressing. Aaaaaaand it was fantastic! It's always risky to order anything with truffle oil, but I really do love it when it's super subtle. This sushi roll was sooo delicious. And they have gluten free soy sauce too! I just sat at the bar for maybe 45 minutes because I didn't have a ton of time, but the time I did spend at Soy Cowboy was really enjoyable. The ambiance cannot be beat, it's absolutely beautiful and feels very opulent inside -- gorgeous high ceilings and tall windows. It's a fantastic setting for a dinner party or a date. The prices make sense considering the vibes, quality of food, the stunning plating, and the prime location at the Lowe's Arlington Hotel (by both the cowboys and rangers stadiums and more; park in the closest parking garage)!

We stopped in for dinner before a concert (great location as it is just across from all the event festivities). We had no reservations but were able to get a table for 2 with no wait. The inside is HUGE, I think the capacity is upwards of 400. I've never seen a restaurant so large unless it was in Vegas. We got a variety of plates to share between the two of us including the Bluefin Toro Tacos, Wagyu potstickers, Wagyu fried rice, and Otoro nigiri. The Bluefin Toro Tacos were bitesized (2 bites) and the Otoro nigiri was also on the smaller size.The food was tasty although I feel like it was expensive for what it was and the portions were small for the price. Everything was find but nothing was outstanding. Soy Cowboy would be a good option if you were here with a large group or a work dinner before an outing for a game or concert.

The food was hot but was very basic food. The orange chicken was more pieces of crisps than chicken. Our server was nice but may have checked in twice total. We even had to flag down a different server to ask for things. The ambiance is what this place really offered, outside of that, I was very unimpressed. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back.

I'm not a sushi fan so I was pleasantly surprised there were other options on the menu. We sat at the bar and had excellent service. They have nice wine options and asian beer. If you're looking for an upscale restaurant near Texas Live, this is a great option. It's also close to the highway so it's convenient from all parts of the metroplex.

We came here for business dinner and location was convenient. Ambiance was modern yet rustic. Servers were attentive and friendly. Food was delicious and satisfying. I was impressed by the presentation of dishes like sparklers on the dessert. It was great experience and we enjoyed it.

Food was amazing & although the service was good, it wasn't GREAT. There were periods we were left alone for a good deal of time & nobody came to check on us. Atmosphere was very nice though, and the decor was 10/10.

OK, this place is really almost too cool for Arlington. The ambience is one of a kind. The decor is awesome. The service was incredible and the food was over the top good it is kind of family style so you share a lot. Which makes it even better?

Best DFW metroplex dining experience I've had in quite a while. Can't wait to come back to try the rest of their mouthwatering menu!What we got: We decided to do a snacking type of dinner so we got the snow crab taco, crispy rice tuna, wagyu beef skewers, french fries with fresh truffle, truffle kanpachi roll, and the dragon roll. For drinks, we got a few raspberry refreshers and a strawberry rose refresher with Ketel One ($245). Everything was delectable to say the absolute least. My favorites were the taco, skewers and dragon roll. Taco was absolutely tiny & had a heavy price tag - but completely understandable and will definitely order again because it was one of the best things I've ate in my life. Environment: Stunning. Breathtaking. We were in awe from the moment we stepped in. I'm a person of detail and Soy Cowboy delivers exactly that. Service: Outstanding. I'm really glad they decided to go the route of "once it's ready in the kitchen, it's coming to your table".

Vibe is nice and the service was great. The sushi was a hit and the chicken dumplings tasted really good. I was a bit shocked to see the Branzino. I wasn't expecting it to be deep fried - which took away from the flavor of the food. Overall the meal started really well and then fell a bit flat. Neither of us enjoyed the main entree enough to finish it.
