This place is always a vibe!! My daughter and I always love it. We always treated with respect and it's always a VIBE in here!! The food is THE BOMB!! Makes me feel like I'm back home in Shreveport!! Definitely a place I come when I'm homesick!

Daiquiris are strong and delicious. The catfish is for real. The staff is always a vibe, friendly and helpful. Some of the best Cajun food. I'm a Louisiana native so trust me when I say, it's "BOOT" approved! Plenty of parking, music selection is golden. Order at the counter, sit back and relax.

Natchitoches Meat Pies, Baton Rouge Boudin Balls, Fried Catfish, Chicken Wings (Bourbon Sauce), Fries (no salt) and Red Beans & Rice $26 platter It's always good vibes when I stop by the Southern Classic Daiquiri Factory on Ross Avenue downtown Dallas. The young lady that was behind the bar, wiping down the tables, answering our every question, taking orders', and she was cleaning out the men's restroom in between juggling keeping a leveled head, and disposition. This Nubian Queen really was showing and proving how well balanced and multitasking we are in real time. Always a 10/10 when I dine in or take out. Try it for ya self.

Daqs are on point, but I'm taking it down 2 stars because the last couple of times I've been and ordered wings/ fish, it's been entirely tooo salty!! Fries are extremely salty, too! I've experienced this with both regular and ranch flavored wings. I'll try other items and update my review as needed.

supporting local black owned businesses is definitely a priority of mines, so naturally on juneteenth i popped into a few of my favorite spots! Southern Classic never EVER disappoints! Not with service, drinks, or food!! i ordered the the catfish basket + crinkle fries, catfish atchafalaya, green beans, thot juice & love potion. you order at the counter and they give you a number, so it's open seating. they are usually playing hip hop or r&b. while dining in, i have never felt overwhelmed with noise, but there is back room with tvs where the music sounds lower. one thing about an excellent catfish place, is how fresh the fish is and how hot it comes out. let me tell you, the food came out: hot, fresh, and crispy!! the catfish was fried to perfection!! it was definitely asmr worthy!!i love their daiquiris because the sugar isnt too overpowering. a lot of daiquiris are too sugary for me and i cant drink them, but the southern classic daqs are excellent . support an amazing black owned business in dallas, and check southern classic daiquiri factory

Enjoyed this chill relaxed spot. We couldn't decide on what to eat so ended up getting the platter to try and everything was good. The catfish was crispy how I like the wings were even good, kickin bourbon and spicy rub were mine. My favorite was the crawfish pies the red beans and rice was okay to me. Overall I keep going back for the daiquiris lolol. They are strong but not too strong more like sneak up on you and good

Maaaaan I will NEVER set foot in this place again! The dining area was leaking water, the staff wasn't friendly at all & my food wasn't prepared with my group (9 of us). I saw everyone else's food being brought to the table but not mine, I only had 2 items in my order. The saving grace was I was refunded my money & got my food, to go. The wings weren't crispy for my liking but the flavor of all the food was good.

The daiquiris are FIRE. I'm from La just moved to Dallas. We don't have Fat Tuesday and this gives me the Fat Tuesday vibes. The Fried catfish and crispy. Red & rice YES MA'AM got French bread was good as well. Will definitely be back. Good vibes, good music, good food? Can't miss ! Doesn't have a bar area but you can order your drink & food then sit yourself. The service was cool, kinda a whole in the wall so take in consideration if you're looking for top notch service IYKYK. The time management is off; atmosphere is everything if your workers seem off putting and yall not getting orders out.. we ordered 5 wings 5 shrimp side green beans and gumbo and it took 45 mins to get the order out to us and the wings were cold shrimp was good gumbo was good just confused on why it took 45 mins..
