Song Huong Restaurant

Stopped by for some snacks before a reception. We ordered banh beo and bánh bột lọc but they were out of the latter. Ordered grilled pork rolls. The banh beo was decent. The pork rolls were not good. Loosely wrapped and should be tighter. The meat was dry and u flavorful.

I found this on Yelp and wanted to try it cuz some girl said it was the best bbh in town. To be honest, it didn't look promising because they don't have that many reviews but I wanted to give them a try anyway. I pulled up and the place looks dirty and sketchy. I said if I don't see anybody come in to eat then I'm not going. Second after a dad and few kids walked in so I said ok I'll give them a try. I walked in, told her I was by myself. I sat down and immediately regret it. The place was old and kind of dirty. She was nice to me so I stayed. I would have felt bad walking out. While I was waiting for my food, a couple came in. The owner was completely oblivious and didn't acknowledge them at all. They walked out after waiting few mins. My food came ten mins later. She had to reheat it in the back. I think she just makes a big pot and reheat when you order. Anyway, it was the worst bun Bo hue I've ever had. I can make better one at home if I try. It wasn't red, the broth needs to be red from spices. There was no flavor. I got a small bowl cuz I changed my mind about eating here after walking in but didn't have the heart to walk out. I paid $15 for a small bowl and sprite. The small bowl was listed $10.95 on menu. Idk how it came out to be $15. That sprite couldn't be $3. That's absurd

Food for drinks is good. Everything I got here was good. I like it here because there's no smoking inside.

My daughter wanted to try this restaurant so we stopped. It was a quaint place with only one party present. There was a visible sign stating that only cash was accepted but also mentioned a Zelle handle to make the payment. My daughter ordered us soup and it was just okay. We left prematurely when an older guy ( family member more than likely) came in and begin to smoke a cigarette inside the actual restaurant!! My daughter said the total was $35 for our 2 soups, an appetizer and a bottled soda. I won't return and wouldn't recommend due to the guy smoking in the restaurant.

BEST BBH IN TOWN! Came here one day randomly and I've never have bbh soooo good. Their sate is also packing with a good amount of spice (unlike some other places where its just oil) I love coming here especially when I'm hungover or need to recover.

Best mi quang ever ! Delicious. Also the banh beo is very good, I get them often. Would recommend.

Yes bun Bo hue does remind me a lot of Vietnam. But it is pricing! Extra blood cake is additional $2 for 1 piece. Banh bot loc was ok. It's not the naked kind. 6 pieces of banh bot loc is $6. Portion is pretty small. Is it worth it? Not really and here's why. Menu is pretty dirty. I order coke and drink straight from the can. didn't bother to use their cup. If they can't clean the menu, what about the food. I try not to let that affect my food judgement. If you looking for a clean environment and worth your bucks, This is not a place for you. If you want to try what's bun Bo hue is like in Vietnam it's a must try. Eating at any places is a risk, try not to think too much!

Cảm thấy không được chào đón khi vô ăn, nhân viên thì không có thân thiệt, kiểu như quát vào mặt khách, đồ ăn thì cũng k có gì ấn tượng, bánh bèo chén tệ hơn mình nghĩ, ngon ở nước chấm nhưng đến nước mắm cũng dở, k cứu vớt được gì hết.

Authentic Hue dishes. Bun Bo is best with the soup. Other restaurants offer Bun Bo, but cannot beat the soup base from Song Huong.Service is wonderful. Every time I am in town, I take my family here. Great place for best Hue food in DFW.

They're under new owner now. Only served snail dishes, hotpot or đồ nhậu/finger food. No Longer have bun Bo hue or those dishes like the old Song Hương. Cash only.
