Smoak Town BBQ

My wife and I tried this place for lunch on a Friday and it was good. We got there around 1030 not knowing if there would be a line or not, and we were the first people there. We tried the 2 meat plates. My wife got the turkey and sausage. I tried the brisket and pulled pork. They had a special that day of PB&J burnt ends, but they would not let you do a 3 meat plate with it because it was a special order. It was $16.50 for 1/2 pound so I stuck with the 2 meat, but when I went to pick up the order they decided to let me try 1/4 pound of the PB&J burnt ends for $8.50. For sides we had the corn, potato salad, beans and mac and cheese. For the two 2 meat plates with sides and 2 sodas it was $67. We made multiple meals out of it. The sides were great. The corn had a sweeter flavor to it which I enjoyed. My wife didn't care for the turkey (weird after taste) but she liked the sausage. The pulled pork was tasty. The brisket was good, but a tad dry. Overall, it was a good lunch and it's definitely worth checking out. But, being so far away from Dallas, nothing stood out to make me want to make the trek again.

Saturday 11am, Sep 28th. Second time here and awesome. Had the pork ends. Oh man! Corn had a cinnamon thing going on and the beans had a lot of heat. So dang good. $18 for wifey and I to share this.

Get here as early as you can, treat your Boss to lunch, just make a plan!Everything is smoked daily, and the sides are fresh. Staff will call your Name, not a number, and hand-carry your order to you, make sure you have everything. Wendesdays are still Brisket Burger Day, if you have not tried these, hump on over on Hump Day, with an appetite!Today being Friday, I got the Pulled Pork. Sandwich Plate. This was a hill of meat, stacked up on a fresh soft bun. Tender, light smoky flavor, no dry parts.Good bbq sauce, but I hardly use a tablespoon so the Smoak Town flavor don't get covered up.Fate Brought Me Here, I'm Done.

This food truck is located in Fate Food Haul, just off Main Street. They serve up some of the best barbecue in town. We love going for a brisket sandwich on the weekends. They serve it up quick and offer several sides, including macaroni and cheese! Lots of outdoor seating, available along with margaritas from a nearby food truck.

This was the first time i have tried them. OMG the way the brisket melted together with the cheese and the BBQ sauce was outstanding. I would definitely comeHere multiple times and the customer service was very nice and friendly and all smiles. I licked the box clean it was so good.

Best BBQ in the area! My favorite is the brisket burgers on Wednesdays. Never had a better burger, and you don't need a million fixins; the burger speaks for itself!!If you go when they have the boudin balls, you MUST TRY THEM. I'm still waiting for them to return

Amazing place! Wasn't able to get any bbq as they was out but the set up was cozy and spacious. We grabbed some coffee at the rolling beans food truck and headed out. Service was excellent.

One of the best bbq places I've been too in a long time I'm very satisfied with the quality of the meat and the flavor of the meat!!!!!!!
