Definitely seems like a place that has been around for a long while; there was a lot of wisdom in the restaurant and a definite family-waitresses-know-everyone vibe!Service was fast and friendly.Food was very good; lives up to the "homemade" sign over the front door.Could have been a bit cleaner; crumbs on floor under one table, syrup container sticky, bathroom was a little eh. Great diner in arlington! I usually get the same thing for breakfast every time - the chicken fried chicken and eggs and have ventured off trying the patty melt and liver and onions for lunch which both were also so good!The size of the chicken isn't as large as it used to be when it had to be on a plate by itself and it seems the batter is much lighter than it used to be. Some changes but nothing bad.Either way, I still love coming here with my family to enjoy breakfast and we haven't been disappointed.Lots of space for large parties to dine in.Fun and friendly staff, family owned.Everything is reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. There's no way you're leaving still hungry.The house hot sauce (Sarah's sauce) is one of my favorites.

I had an amazing time here Saturday went to have quick lunch with friends. It's a great place. We were 12 strong or more . We all had different entrees but each one looked good . Food bought to table hot and fresh. Service was great hostess were always there bringing refills and offering kind and Xmas cheer. Ambiance spacious old Tex mex. Feel . Lots of menu options vegan as well. Enjoyed the meal and company. Happy Holidays Everyone.

It's been awhile since I've been to this restaurant, but decided to go this morning for breakfast. They did not disappoint! I ordered bacon and eggs and they loaded up the bacon and the diced potatoes that came with it were excellent. Also, in my opinion, they have the best coffee going. Service was also excellent. Recommend!

Food is good like a home cooked meal. 5 stars because of the wait staff amazing service and talk about team work. They all work together to get you coffee/drink, food, hot sauces and checking on customers. They made our experience an amazing one!!!The Ambience is nice to can have a conversation with your party even though it's a huge placeHere's a tip: portions are huge excellent for share styled meals. The 3 meals we ordered almost covered the whole table. This is a place you would take your visiting family for the portions and price.

Ate here earlier today. Had the full Skillet and Grill Combo. I've learned it has all the items I prefer. Eggs, Sausage and French Toast. It doesn't include Home Fries but I can live without them and I can still feel full. One of the servers remembers I prefer my French Toast with cinnamon instead of powdered sugar. That impresses me to. She has helped me assemble the Breakfast I like. Fluffy eggs, sausage, and French Toast !! Now when I go in and she's there all I have to say is whether I want the Half Combo or Full Combo. Saves time! It's nice employees who are that helpful
