I am an oyster lover and this place has good oyster, raw oyster is very fresh and they have 3 other baked flavor. I would hope they clean the oyster a little better as there were 1 or 2 still covered in mud and got on my hand. Their food portion is big. grits were creamy and shrimp is on point. It's a very casual environment and decoration is fun.There were a lot of people on a Tuesday night .

Yelp, another solid recommendation. Let me start by saying this place is packed, non stop traffic....always a great sign, right?I was craving fried shrimp and learned they also served fried cod. Fought with my sister (she hates seafood) and convinced her to join me. The shrimp was delicious and perfectly prepared. My only gripe is they're billed as JUMBO and as you can see by the pic they're anything but...no biggie. Ordered a piece of the fried cod and loved it...in fact I'll be back to have more. The coleslaw was fresh and good. My sis had the 2 piece chicken tenders and loved em'. She quipped tender and juicy. We both loved the fries.I also saw they have ceviche, my absolute favorite made with tilapia and shrimp and look forward to trying it as well on the next visit. Service is fast!

When your friend says she's craving oysters, you know what that means--oyster feast time! Fast forward to 4 dozen oysters later, and here's the scoop.We started with 3 dozen raw Gulf oysters. They hit the spot for our cravings but definitely weren't the best we've had. All three of us agreed they weren't thoroughly cleaned, which was a bit disappointing. Next up was a dozen grilled garlic butter oysters, but sadly, they didn't deliver either. They were dry and buried under an overwhelming amount of cheese. Garlic? Butter? Barely there.To mix things up, we ordered a fried catfish basket, which was decent--not mind-blowing, but solid. But here's where things took a dive: the gumbo. I'm not even sure it was gumbo--it just wasn't it. Definitely a hard pass.Now, the drinks? They saved the day. Our bartender was an absolute gem--sweet, patient, and ready to help us navigate the drink menu. Bonus: we made it just in time for happy hour, and she did not hold back on the alcohol.Overall, it scratched the oyster craving itch, and the vibes were great, but would we go back? Once again, always: FUN ambiance! Great food! Always discovering a new dessert after our fish entrees. So, so, so, so, so good and fun. It is definitely a FOOD PARTY! I am very stuffed, again :) Love the staff as well: FUN! Helpful. This time, a frequent favorite: cod fish and chips for my wife; and, grilled salmon for me. The fish and the sides are all wonderful. Dessert this time: KEYLIME PIE! Fabulous flavor, a well made pie and great limey flavors.

The restaurant is airy and big without being overly big - great for large families or groups. You order and pay at the front and it gets delivered to your table - which makes dining with friends a breeze as you don't have to split the bill at the end. The bar at the back has a great laid back atmosphere with plenty of tv's to keep you updated on sports. You do have to go to the front of the restaurant to order food but it's only a minor niggle as the bar is mostly a kid free area.

Shuck Me is a bright, lively spot where good vibes and even better food are on the menu. The staff was friendly, making sure everything ran smoothly. The soda station? Extra bubbly, and that root beer hit just right--seriously thirst-quenching. As for the fish, it was seasoned to perfection, served hot, and simply delicious. If you're looking for a place where the food's as vibrant as the atmosphere, this is it!

The seafood here is always good here at Shuck me. It always comes out fresh, hot, and most importantly delicious!I always enjoy the lobster bisque or clam chowder that they serve in sour dough bowls. Their oysters are fresh (Go with the gulf ones they always taste better than the blues). The service is just when you order the food at the from and pick up. No real complaints here. And if you don't know what you want they always have great suggestions. As for the ambiance it's a seafood shack and is decorated accordingly. Has stuffed fish on the walls a stuffed bear and tons of fish photos. If you are fish type person you'll love the set up. Oh I forgot there is a cool bar in the back that serves great drinks.Overall a great experience.

We love this place a very casual restaurant I switch from the boiled shrimp either regular or the spicy version 1 pound of greatness comes with boiled potatoes and corn on the cobIt is all I can do to finish it offAnd the fried catfish hush puppies and today the mozzarella sticks at the top of the cheese world !A very large place seating is never an issue Worth a look if you are in the westlake area just drive 40 cops watch this road

Love the food. I always order fried catfish with spicy seasoning. Amazing ! Hush puppies good too

Great food and service will come back! Every crawfish and oyster restaurant has been out of both, not them!
