I usually wait till the 2nd visit before I write a review, but I'm going out a limb and assuming the 2nd visit won't be much different than the 1st.There was a group of 5 of us that went. I ordered the grilled chicken and beef with Mac salad. The others got a good variety so we all sort of had a sample of several things. There's wasn't a single thing I ate that I didn't enjoy. The butter shrimp, chicken, corn, beef it was ALL really good. I highly recommend this place. The only down side is that once they're out of food, that's it.. closed for the day.If you're feeling like eating Mo Bettas I am going to do you a solid and say go here instead. Same food, 3xs better.

I passed this place many times and today decided to stop to give them a try. I'm glad I did. This place walking in was so cute, they had Hawaiian music playing, made feel relaxed like I was on vacation.The food was so delicious, the first bite did its job. I was surprised how much flavor it had.Service was great, the lady at the register was nice and presentable.Definitely stopping again the next time I'm in the area.

OMG what a Suprise when I opened the box, they know I love the shrimp, but I went with the beef today. Shayne thru in 3 shrimp but I only paid for a small plate. (Thank You!) I don't know anyplace that shows their appreciation for repeat customers. I have been there 30+ times in 6-7 months.

The garlic butter shrimp...life changing. We had the firecracker chicken too. The macaroni salad was amazing too and the family was working. The kids were so sweet! We totally would go back!

We drove there yesterday and my party ordered a variety of items. The stand out flavor was the Firecracker and garlic butter. The food is good, thats undeniable and better than what we had when we actually went to hawaii which was fantastic. The issue here just lies in the price and portion size. For a 3 entree meal that includes one side and a sauce, its about $20 but you don't get $20 worth of food. Each entree is only THREE pieces. So firecracker shrimp, thats 3 pieces, garlic butter beef? 3 pieces. Hawaiian chicken? 3 pieces.For me personally, Even the lower in cost items (mac salad and rice) was very skimpy. The rice seemed to be barely a scoop just spread out, and the mac was indeed a small scoop. I understand the prices of food are ridiculous but something has to give. Add more rice, add more mac and please ADD more sauce at the bare minimum but do consider what you give verses what folks are paying. I have read some of the other comments about the same thing and I have heard the response. If you get the 3 entree, you can NOT share it with anyone and you will not have any amount of leftovers. I am a VERYYYYY small eater and I was starving after eating my 3 entree meal. We also ordered the fried dough balls with the sugar and maple syrup dipping sauce. Now THAT was a huge portion. This is just my 2 cents and with all that being said it was a great experience, we loved the concept, love supporting their dream etc etc.

Great food, but expensive for small portions, when I opened my box it looked empty as if they had forgotten something. Looking back at older photos of the place, they used to give you Mac and a side salad - now it's one or the other. $40 for 2 people for lunch from a counter service place. We each got two meats; shrimp was only 4 pieces and the meat was the same basically. The food was all very flavourful and tasty but just not enough. We added a side of corn for $1.75 and it was half a piece of corn! Won't be coming back unfortunately.

My buddy was helping me move some stuff to my moms house in Alvarado and I promised him lunch afterwards. It was a pick between twisted root burgers or Shaneboys .. we flipped a quarter and we ended up at Shaneboy's! We got lucky for sure. We were welcomed with a smile The atmosphere and ambiance was spot on !! My buddy and I both enjoyed a hot fresh cooked meal and were very satisfied!! Next time I'm in Alvarado I'll be stopping by to try it again ! My mom lives a few minutes anyway so I'll be telling her about this spot as well !

Definitely enjoyed this place. I had heard a lot about it from my neighbors but hadn't made my way. I should have ventured out that way a long time before. The food was really good. But the restaurant itself is so kid friendly. My daughter didn't want to leave after having a chance to spend time in their play area. It allowed us to eat in peace while she randomly came over and grabbed a bite and went back to play. The snow cones on site were icing on the cake!!

Don't hesitate! Just come here for some of the best service and food you've ever had. Portions are plentiful. Always fresh, hot, and delicious! I am kind of picky and hard to impress, but this place is !Seating inside is clean, picnic style and a nice, casual ambiance. It's worth the drive!

Two times over a period of several different months, we have driven 30 minutes to come out here and found this very reason for it being closed on weekend nights. It's ridiculous. Use Google Business hours! Post it! Will not being driving out here again.
