Sexton Feed Mill

Found this gem by accident while in town and love it. Set right on the river the outdoor views are amazing. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the game on a big screen and several TVs. Small but decent menu. Games and pool tables in the back for entertainment. Can't wait to come during warmer weather and enjoy the huge patio.

The food was super quick and good. They don't skimp on the meats on the pizza or quesadillas. The brisket pizza isn't on the menu but just ask! Live music at 8pm, not overly loud, just right. Will be back!

Great atmosphere, great food & drinks, right on the river and usually have live music. Great for the whole family.

Based on what I'd heard... wasn't really expecting much. But we were pleasantly surprised! The menu is very limited, but what they offer is very good. Cool riverside setting, nice folks, and great service!

The service was great. We got queso and nachos. Queso was flat out awful. We got salsa and nachos the salsa had a strange burnt smoke flavor to it. I got a sample of their meats. First was cheese and jalapeño sausage. I hate to say this but it was literally the worst sausage I've ever eaten in my life. Pulled pork and the brisket were average but the barbecue sauce tasted weird. The sides I got were the Mexican corn which was really salty and the beans were bland. On the good side, which is why I gave a 3 instead of a 2 my wife got a burger on a pretzel bun which apparently they are known for, which she said was very good. I would probably not go back again unless it was to get a burger

Food is 2/5. I don't believe the smoked chicken or brisket was smoked. Tastes like store deli rotisserie meat. Not bad, just not restaurant quality. And dry. Barbecue sauce tastes like their salsa with vinegar added to it. It's oddly chunky. Poblano corn dip is basically canned corn with some kind of cheesy and a cilantro leaf on it. Salsa has weird salty, liquid smoke flavor. Ambiance is fun. Music is good. Room for kids to play about. No frozen drinks. Beer is good. They seem short staffed. Chips and salsa are tiny food truck sized. Caution: when the meal says it "comes with two sides", they charge extra for the sides. This felt like deceptive for a side of canned black beans. Was not worth $89 for two people. Won't come back for food and price. Might return only if friends want to hang out. Overall: not worth the money unless you want to hang out by the slow moving Paluxy.

Go here!!! NOW!It's delicious bbq, the ambiance is incredible! We are in a silo! The beer is cheap, the margaritas are good!The rice puts chipotle to SHAME! They have yard games and music and axe throwing and WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS AND NOT EATING THERE????

If you go in this place between 2and4, know that they may tell you they have bbq but after you wait 40 min. to an hour, they will come back and say "sorry, No bbq. We just ran out! " Don't look at the man by the grill, he not cutting up bbq for you.Hungry people move on.

The place is amazing. The food and service was outstanding. Everything came out super fast and was delicious. We got jalapeño poppers, pickle chips, pizzas and loaded potatoes; We have no complaints! They had great live music. The owner, Trisha Sexton, was very friendly and was sweet to my children. We definitely will be visiting again. Very family friendly!

This was our second time here coming in from out of town for a weekend trip to see fossil rim, dinosaur world, and big park. You can't beat the live music, room to run around for the kids, and river view. Their staff is great and whoever is working the smoker is fantastic . The cigarette smoke that blows anywhere and everywhere on the patio makes it less kid-friendly but it's never been so overwhelming that it ruined our good times and we're pretty sensitive. Definitely a fun place for the family if you're in Glen rose.
