Located atop the Hilton Anatole, Ser has a nice view and great ambiance with some live piano (at least on the evening we were there). We started with the oysters and Parker Rolls. The Parker Rolls are fantastic and while I don't love that a venue like this doesn't just have bread included, they were delicious. The oysters, not so much. No small fork provided, which wouldn't be an issue except that they are completely attached, so it was basically a struggle to get them out.... And the grapefruit granita (in place of mignonette) is a huge mistake. Unless they change this, don't get the oysters. Too much is focused on making dry ice pour fog over the table and not on actually having a good dish with this one. So one hit and one miss. For mains, the platinum ribeye was a solid 4-star. Very good, but not a best-in-class steak. Something you'll be happy with, but not dreaming of your next trip back. Accompanied with an add-on bearnaise, which might as well have been a dollop.... Definitely not enough.Overall, the rolls and ribeye held their own. Was a bit pricier for what you get, but you might be paying a bit for the view and location too!

Staying at the Anatole and was able to check out SER a couple of times now. When it comes to ambiance, setting, and romantic lighting this place checked all those marks. Although I went alone, the food and the drink is what made each visit so amazing. Went for the happy hour, stayed for the dessert. They have $10 signature cocktails and items on their bar app menu that were very good.I was able to try the perfect pear, black Cadillac, and Can't be beet cocktails which were all a must try.I also ordered their espresso martini that was really tasty, but not on the happy hour menu. Food wise my favorites were the corn chowder and the gochujang chicken. I tried the octopus but it was missing a wow factor and texture. Honestly if you are looking for a nice jazzy intimate feel and not like a party spot this is it. The lightning is dim and cozy. The views and ambiance are spectacular. You're way from the hustle and bustle of this busy conference hotel and all the madness downstairs. The bar and lounge area is first come first serve so that's where went each time.

My husband and I came here for an early dinner on a weekday, since we were staying at the Hilton Anatole. The restaurant is on the 27th floor of the Tower in the Hilton Anatole. We reserved a table in advance via OpenTable which wasn't necessary on a Wednesday as the restaurant wasn't too busy. The inside is very nicely decorated with multiple hood ornaments displayed near the elevators and near the check in area. We were seated near the window with a nice view of Dallas downtown. The service was excellent, our server Keith was attentive and friendly. I appreciated that he checked with the kitchen in regards to an allergy I had. As a steakhouse with elevated dining experience and nice view, expect to pay a lot more for the experience. For two people with a drink each, one appetizer, an entree each, dessert and tea cost about $200 not including tip or tax. The food itself was good and many dishes were beautifully presented.

This place has the best view in the city. It is also great for cold nights since it is inside. We went for happy hour and had the best experience. $10 cocktails is such a deal and I also had the octopus which I highly recommend. The server wasn't juggling the bar and our table and was able to keep up with both although we did have to wait for refills a few times, but understand he was covering a lot of area.

My bf and I celebrated our anniversary here and thought the service, foods, and cocktails were great. Our waiter was fantastic. We had a beautiful view. I had the filet which was cooked to perfection. Side dishes were mashed potatoes and mushrooms.

A delightful experience atop the 27th floor of the Hilton Anatole - despite an incident with the fire alarms going off. My wife and I came by to celebrate our 10 year dating anniversary. We made sure to mention this and requested best seating in the house, which we think we received. We were seated next to a floor-to-ceiling spanning window. The views of downtown Dallas were simply immaculate. Better than even the scenery viewed from the restaurant at the reunion tower, which is on the 40-something floor and whose whole selling point is that view. We came by during restaurant week so ordered from that menu but also chose to order a seafood tower as an appetizer from the regular menu. All items within the tower were delicious. The items from the restaurant week menu were delicious as well. However, the steak, which was a wagyu, felt a tad lacking. Now, before we got our main course, the fire alarms went off. Initially, this seemed like a false alarm, but the alarms continued going off and thus prompted a majority of the guests to go down 27 flights of stairs.Fortunately, it was just a faulty alarm that triggered the system. We had to wait ~30 mins to get back up since the elevators were shut down. Once back up, the staff made sure to seat us immediately and get our courses out again. All in all, a fantastic establishment that we can see ourself dining again.

I'm going to agree with one of the reviews I saw that you really want to go there just for the view. The food is really expensive. I went in there with my sister and shared a meal and paid 150 for a salad steak and dessert no drinks just water. I was in shock to see the salad that we received which was just four pieces of lettuce I didn't even understand how we were going to eat that, this restaurant needs to do better on that matter. I don't think I wanna go there again. The waiters are nice. I can't complain about that but you definitely just wanna go for the view.

Stayed at the Hilton Anatole last night and went to a show at Music Hall. Celebraring Valentines a week early. So this was splurge dinner.Had 5pm dinner reservations at SER Steak and Spirits (27th floor) at the hotel. Dinner was early but wanted to eat before the show. 5pm is when the open, so we were the only ones there. Haha. Sat by the window, with view of Dallas skyline and views of the sunset. Adam was our Server. For drinks, she got the Perfect Pear and I got the Black Cadillac Margarita (charcoal activated). Drinks were a great start! For the appetizer- we got the Colossal shrimp. Appetizer came one a plate, over a bowl, with dry ice - made for a cool presentation. We ordered the Parker bread service. When the bread came out, it was DIVINE! Fluffy, pillowy center, with a salted top crust, whipped butter. It was one of THE BEST breads I've had! We shared a 10oz Filet (medium rare), with a crab oscar and asparagus enhancement, along with a mushroom and caramelized onion enhancement, and a side of their whipped potates. The steak looked liked it was cooked medium and was worried it was overcooked - but it was PERFECT! So tender and melt in your mouth good, flavor and sear - perfect! The enhancements were sooo good! Lots of crab with that crab Oscar. We were able to catch the sunset! We were SO full that we didn't order dessert. We did make it back in time after the show and ordered dessert. Herman Chocolate Cake - OMG, this cake came on a cutting board and could have fed 4-6 people. Lol. Dessert was amazing with different textures in each bite and was out of this world! It has been very long time to have had a dinner where everything was great! The food, service, ambiance, our server, ALL great! Highly Recommended SER!

The service was excellent, the view and ambience was top notch, but for $230 for two people, the food wasn't the greatest. I've cooked steaks myself that has tasted better. The Salmon is just "ok". It would take a lot for me to return.
