I read the bad reviews but decided to give this guys a chance, and support a small local business.The place looks pretty much like the old Fresh Wok, the interior got a fresh paint job, and they took out the chairs for the customers to wait for their food. Now the cashier will offer to bring it to your car.I wanted Curry Chicken or Szechuan Chicken, not on the menu. They offer Bento boxes, and sushi. Chinese choices are down to 6 or 8 dishes. I came a little late for lunch so I had to pay $9.99 for Broccoli Beef, the price almost made me walk across the street to Panda Express, but I needed to be the judge of this place that my family loved for years.I didn't take the food home, I ate in the car to get the "Fresh" experience.First of all, the meal comes with white rice, and one egg roll.The egg roll was cold, and that is the first item I ate. I tasted like it was made a few hours ago. You could at least re-fry it for 5 seconds.The white rice was cooked, you can't mess up rice on the automatic rice cooker.Next, the Broccoli Beef, it had a generous amount of beef, broccoli and carrots. So the amount was not the problem, the beef was "very rubbery", (see photo), I ate all the broccoli and carrots.I'm not wasting the beef, will probably chop it small and add to a soup to see if there is any flavor left.So, in conclusion: It is definitely not the restaurant it used to be, this place was the best Chinese in the Bedford/Euless area for years, rated by multiple rating apps.It is bad Chinese, who knows if it's bad sushi or bad Japanese, it makes you want to protest and ask for the "Fresh Wok" back.

Lately this restaurant has been going down a slippery slope.I see it's under new management and has been named "asian express" this was the worst thing they could have done. The quality of the food has plummeted and customer service is unsatisfactory. I ordered sushi, crab Rangoon's and shrimp tempura. I asked for extra eel sauce and sweet and sour for the crab rangoons. Instead of giving me the sauce that costs them nothing they attempted to charge me a dollar for each sauce I asked for. I spent over $25 dollars with them within this one order and they couldn't give me SAUCE... the sushi that was supposed to be fried was SOGGY and the rangoons were hard.. this used to be the spot but now I wouldn't go there even if it was free. Id I could give zero stars I would. I won't be back

Food is so good, I love that it's a takeout environment. Easy order online, gives you tons of food + sushi is good.

Just spend nearly $100 for a few medium bowls of trash food. Overly salty foods, every dish I ordered was worst than a gas station take out, if gas stations had take outs. No flavor with a lot of veggies. Every dish had rubbery stale tasteless shrimp. Felt and tasted like it came from the bottom of a bathroom rug (I would imagine thats what something would taste like if it came from there). Chicken was tuff and very small cube pieces. Sushi looked scary so I didn't eat it and I love sushi but, not going to risk it from this place. Only ordered from here assuming fresh wok owners still owned it but I can tell clearly that is not the case. Food here is 100x worst. Don't bother just go across the street to Panda Express much much better and more bang for your buck, plus you know what to expect.

The food is decent but the peopleThat work here are incompetent. I've had multipleDifferent experiences where they get my order wrong or there was some misunderstanding. I don't know if it's a language barrier or if they don't care but getting a customers order right is a very basic task for a restaurant.
