Delicious meals and great service. Popular spot so expect it to fill up fast. Grab a menu and check out their specialties of the day in the waiting area. They have a good variety and even options for non-fish eaters. Great for the whole family. Convenient parking lot right around the corner.Sashimi/nigiri can be ordered on the piece of paper they give you. Not everything is on this sheet so be sure to check the menu for the other items.Fish = excellent quality

Seated promptly on a Thursday night after a bad bunny Salsa class - shout out Amanda! This was a pretty quaint place with an open kitchen in front of the bar. Our server was nice but not immensely helpful because he liked fried items for the rolls whereas we prefer fresh rolls. Service was pretty fast. Like really fast. We had stuff coming out within 5 mins. Probably because 830pm on a Thursday night. We were served our salad - part of the sashimi combo - within minutes. And then the Hama orange appetizer soon after. Here's what we ordered:Ricotta dumplings: good. The soup made it better. Hama orange: EXTREMELY FRESH with the orange. We usually don't prefer fatty slices, but this was pretty good. Sashimi combo A:White tuna: first time having it and surprisingly enjoyed it given we don't like regular tuna as much. seabass: stringy and chewy. Not a fan. Tuna: not a fan. Salmon: alright. I think the thick cut detracted from it. I was shocked I didn't like this one because Salmon and Yellowtail are my favorite cuts. Some rolls we got: - In and out salmon roll - Sasa roll- Maui MauiAll were alright. The in and out was the best among them, comparatively.

Fun birthday lunch - specials offered were very abundant sizes in our opinion. 3 choice of sushi offered at $19 per order - large serving. Bento box was giant with soup, choice of sushi, tempura and salad one of the best deals in a highly rated sushi restaurant in Dallas. Always freshly made to order - service is quick and friendly. I tried the tofu bowl and I loved it; large rice bowl with tofu and veggies which again, felt like a large serving at lunch. The tofu is soft which I like but some may not (others only like crispy fried) This absorbs the sauce very well to a delicate taste. Easy front door parking along with a back lot behind the shopping center., Gaston can be busy at times with traffic. Pleasant interior and we were not rushed to enjoy our time together.

Wait staff was friendly and everything came out extremely quickly! We ordered appetizers (fried gyoza and tempura fried soft shell crab). They were great but everything came out at the same time because they are just that fast. The restaurant is small but spacious and had a welcoming atmosphere. Food tasted great, very fresh. Would definitely return to try new things.

We were immediately greeted and seated. Our drinks stayed full and we didn't wait long at all to order. Our waiter was even able to suggest one of the rolls we tried and it was delicious. The ambiance is serene and can be romantic: low lighting with multicolored string lights hanging from the ceiling. Pincushion sofas and velvet chairs. All 4 rolls that we ordered had extremely fresh ingredients and were perfectly garnished with sauce decoration; they were full of flavor. The house salad is pretty large compared to most at Japanese restaurants. We will definitely return and highly suggest that you try this place.

I like this place! It's cute and a good date spot. The service was fast and great, but we came a little closer to closing time (a little over an hour before) so we felt a bit rushed. We still had a great experience and the sushi quality is also really good! Totally recommend and will be coming back!

Best sushi in town. The place is small but well worth the wait. The ahi tower is the best I've had.

This is my #1 sushi spot in Dallas. The food is amazing ! The portions are huge so you get your money's worth ! The platting of the sushi is very pretty and colorful. This place does not have cocktails if that's what you are looking for. The service is very good.

The last few times I have come in to do takeout orders. It's been the same hostess. She has been nothing but rude and inconsiderate and not to the standards that I'm used to coming into restaurant for many years. Next time I come if I do decide to, and if she's hostessing, I will turn around and walk out the door. There is no need to make a comment about how much somebody orders. She should be happy somebody orders because that's keeping the restaurant in business and her with a job. There's so much more I could say, but I doubt it will be noticed. She also makes you think that she's doing you a favor when the reality is the customers coming in are doing her a favor. Next time I will go to Oishii where they see polite and welcoming.

I am in Dallas on business for a week and had a craving for sushi. So, I yelped it and came across several options, but this one stood out to me because they offered a riceless roll, Oyshi Roll, and a Sushi B combo with soup.Sasa also had great reviews, so I gave it a try and it did not disappoint. The presentation was beautiful and the sushi was fresh and delicious. I would definitely order from Sasa again.
