I arrived to this fantastic Guatemalan bakery franchise much much earlier than my friend, so of course I started with coffee and pastries. This was not my first time here, but it was my first time dining in, so I got myself a lovely little window seat at a high top bistro table.I ordered an Americano, which was done right, and I tried one of the healthy smoothies. If you don't drink them fast enough, they do start to separate in a rather unappealing way, so if how it looks matters to you, I don't recommend them for bringing to the office or a long car ride. The pastries, as usual, were delectable, and I highly recommend the vanilla croissant and the guava strudel. I will eat conchas any where I can find them, so I'm happy to say these were on point.Once my friend finally arrived with hugs and chisme, we switched gears and ordered a margarita and some real food. I appreciate an establishment that provides both your uppers and your downers in the same place! I ordered the black bean soup, a satisfyingly salty soup, and beef carpaccio with avocado and capers, which was a tangy, delightful tapas.Service was stellar. My waitress was super friendly and I enjoyed talking to her when she had the time. After a delightful visit, I ordered a bunch of desserts from the case and picked up a lovely floral coffee mug to remember my trip.

This bakery-restaurant is a must visit when in Dallas. The taste on their plates and sweets are delicious. Just make sure what the drinks include because it's not the same as what we are used to. Service from our waitress was amazing. Constantly checking up on our table and never made an unwelcome gesture. Bakery is connected to the restaurant, so you can just go walk and see what sweets you want. The ambiance was great too. Very welcoming.

The huevos rancheros were so good!!! The service was a bit slow. It wasn't cold like the reviews say. It was a bit noisy. I will be going back to try some bakery items.

Awesome bakery/restaurant for a full meal and pastries! They start you off with a complimentary bread basket and their breads are delicious! For the main courses, we tried the Mexican mollette which is an open faced sandwich with beans, cheese, chicken, and avocado. The bread was nice and soft and everything worked well together. I thought the french toast was really yummy too. The sampler plate was good for sharing - it had pupusas, sopes, and more. The service was great and there was complimentary valet parking which was a great feature. The vertical living wall inside was beautiful too. Overall, it is a great brunch spot!

Love the family friendly vibe. There is a restaurant and separate bakery section, depending on what you're looking for. We arrived around 10am on a Saturday. There was a 20 minute wait to be seated, so we poked around the bakery and picked out some pastries while waiting. I also came back on a separate occasion to get more from the bakery. Everything is freshly made and delicious!

San Martin Bakery in Dallas is a gem that combines a restaurant, bakery, and bar into one delightful experience. My wife, 3-year-old, and I stopped by for an early dinner, intending to grab just coffee, but the menu was so appealing that we couldn't resist ordering appetizers as well.I had the Nutella Latte, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly sweetened--a coffee lover's dream. My son ordered the strawberry and banana sweet crepe, which he absolutely loved. The crepe was light, fresh, and beautifully presented. My wife opted for the Cochinita Pibil Sopes from the appetizer menu, and they were incredible. The flavors were vibrant, and the dish was perfectly balanced. The decor of San Martin Bakery is warm and inviting, with a charming and cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. The service was equally impressive--our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that we had a wonderful experience.Every aspect of our visit was perfect, from the delicious food to the ambiance and service. San Martin Bakery is more than just a place to eat--it's a full sensory experience. We will definitely return to explore more of their amazing menu. Highly recommended!

The food landscape across Texas is dominated by Mexican restaurants for as far as the eye can see. So, finding a Guatemalan restaurant brought immediate excitement, as I'd never had the opportunity to sample food from that country. The restaurant is fairly large, with an amply sized dining area as well as a coffee shop, bakery, and small store.Upon my arrival it was pretty busy, with a wait of roughly 20 minutes. I figured surely this place had to be good! Once seated I was given a rather extensive menu that had a multitude of options I wasn't expecting. Let's start with the drinks; they have a large selection of hot and iced coffee beverages, from regular coffee to specialty flavored and seasonal lattes in addition to fruit flavored creations and smoothies. Essentially, whatever kind of coffee you fancy, they have it!The food menu is vast, and there are an abundance of traditional as well as American breakfast items ranging from enchiladas and chilaquiles to omelettes, French Toast, and pancakes. Although it wasn't on the menu, the server was accommodating and allowed me to get a mocha. After a long hard look, I decided on the eggs with loroco and cheese. The mocha was a creamy blend of chocolate and espresso that was quite satisfying, while the eggs came with plantains, refried black beans, salsa, and a slice of cheese. Wow, the infusion of flavor was something to behold! The eggs were perfect, while the black beans and plantains delivered a boost of savory satisfaction. The best part of it all? I left feeling satisfied, not uncomfortably bloated. If you're in the Dallas area and want to step outside your comfort zone, check this place out. I will be sure to
