Sammy's Italian Bistro

What an adorable and delicious restaurant that we never knew about! It's kind of hidden but based on how many people were dining on a Tuesday evening they must have a solid local customer base! The food was delicious. I got the lasagna and it did not disappoint. The staff was so attentive too. I loved the decor, like we were transported right to Italy. This will definitely be my new Italian go to in Burleson and I look forward to coming back to try out more dishes in the future.

Haven't been there in years!!!! Last time I went there everything was all different. I usually get the chicken Parmesan. I am so picky with my meat! Their chicken used to be the best! No weird pieces, all nice white meat then they changed it and I'm chewing on something rubbery which grosses me out! Their marinara saucewas different too! I may give them another try one day , but not today! If it's not broke, don't fix it cuz now it doesn't taste as good! Pizza next time unless that's been all changed too cuz they used to have really good pizza!

We haven't had the opportunity to enjoy dinning in at the restaurant but our take home has always been wonderful.

I ordered takeout for the first time here and requested no dairy (food allergies) Waitress confirmed with the kitchen that they could make my food with no butter or cheese. Simple order of sautéed broccoli, garlic and mushrooms in olive oil. Get home to discover parmesan cheese allover the food, call the restaurant and they have me come back for a new order. Got a complete attitude from the owner and he legit said "we don't typically make special orders, especially when we're busy"...I'm sorry, what?? You could've simply told me no substitutions before I ordered. Anywho...got home with my new order and they didn't even slice the mushrooms this time and the broccoli was pretty much fresh and crunchy WTF?? Worst service ever and cannot believe the owner was soo damn rude

Probably wont be back. My food (chicken parm) was ok. Very basic but pretty good. My husband ordered chicken alfredo and it was completely tasteless, I mean completely. The calzone we ordered was ok, but none of it was worth is a return trip.

Love, love their food. I keep going back. I especially enjoy eating the eggplant parmigiana, their sausage and meatballs, their 'sghetti with sauce-and their red sauce is freaking awesome (not too tart, not too sweet and light on the tastebuds). So good that I could drink it thru a straw . I've tried other Italian restaurants. So far none can compare to Sammy's Italian Bistro. The service, too is always excellent-nothing to complain about here - they are polite and attentive, so what more can you ask for from awesome service?!? I highly recommend even though it is a byob restaurant. As far as ambiance goes: They could serve the food in plastic wares and seat us in hut. As long as they bring the sauce, I would be a happy customer. I swear they could put their sauce on shoe leather and it probably would taste yummy. But it is wayyyy better eaten with noodles or the aforementioned foods. Definitely ('cuz that is all I have, so cannot give more). Did I mention that I love their food?-a lot. Bakes Ziti w/Alfredo sauce was super yummy. Normally go for the fettuccine Alfredo but glad I didn't this time. Others ordered it along with Shrimp Vodka Sauce pasta & barely touched their food. (Don't know how servers ignore this btw) Wouldn't recommend ordering those here. Didn't get to try the pizza.

Great food! Nice atmosphere and super clean with excellent service! We have date night every Friday and come here at least twice a month.

Was really good food! The bruschetta was great, with the garlic and mozzarella on top. Mmm. The tortellini with pink sauce was really good, filled with cheese. The pink sauce is a marinara and Alfredo sauce mix. The Penne Arabiata was good, slightly spicy, has jalapeños in it, strong green pepper taste. Inside of the restaurant is really cute, ceiling is decorated with grapes, vines, and old wine bottles. Staff was great. Only discourse is the price of the tea, $3.35 for small glasses. Prices for the food has gone up already, it's competitive with with the big chain store Italian spot, but then yea is way overpriced. Ouyy try side of the notice of tea it was fine.

The food is terrible. No taste. Bad service. Very dirty. The restrooms are horrible. Needs a lot of help. It's a dump
