We had BBQ ribs, pork egg rolls, and chicken wings. All was delicious. Van is the owner, cooks and is very welcoming. Just opened 10 days ago feels like a local staple. Highly recommend eating here.

Let me start by saying the first time I went here, it was great. I got the spicy chicken hot pot and my boyfriend got the steak and eggs plate. Everything tasted great. I was excited to come back. The woman charged me for the more expensive hot pot and insisted it was the right price even though the menu showed a cheaper price. Whatever. Onto the second time, we had to wait 15 minutes before we were given a menu. There were only two other customers. Anyways, we came back less than a week later because that's how excited we were to eat it again. We ordered the same thing. The SAME woman brings out the spicy chicken hot pot. Last time I had it, it came with egg noodles. This time it came with INSTANT RAMEN noodles. I asked her why did they switch their noodles? She said there was a demand for instant ramen noodles. Really? A demand for INSTANT RAMEN noodles within less than a week? Especially with it being thanksgiving week too? (Instant ramen noodles is significantly less expensive than egg noodles). I also made sure she charged me for the right hot pot this time and did not argue with me that she had the right price. And she did, meaning the last time she was wrong. On another occasion, today, the last time we will be returning, my boyfriend went inside for a peanut butter strawberry banana smoothie. He waited 15 minutes for them to make the wrong smoothie. (He used raspberry instead of strawberry) There was only 1 other table there, a couple, who JUST ordered. The guy that made it insisted he made the right one, when it was clear that he didn't know what he was doing because it took him 15 minutes to make one smoothie. The couple that was in there, ATE, then left before we even got our corrected smoothie, which was after another 20 minutes. No one should have to wait 35 minutes for one smoothie. I get it you're new, your staff isn't well trained yet, but you can start by not arguing with the customers. Take some accountability when your customers have concerns. The food is great but we won't be returning any time soon because of your lack of customer service.

I think this is some of the best Vietnamese food in Arlington. I've eaten here twice and love it. The Pho is amazing and full of favor. The balls under the appertizers are really good. Today I had the hot pot.The food is really fresh. Keep doing anamazing job. The downfall, the waiters need to learn the menu!

I have and wonderful experience in this restaurant with my Daugther. The owner was Van, a wonderful listener and gave us an exceptional attention. I have never tasted vietnam food and it was amazing, starting with the mussels, there fried rice, at the end I finished ordering a wagyu beef on top of a hot block of Himalayan salt with a house made sauce amazing companion for the tender meat . I appreciate the hospitality from Beautiful owner miss Van. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a wonderful Vietnam Cusine experience!

The restaurant decor was cute, and cleanliness was ok. Overall, the experience wasn't bad. We had pho and it was mediocre. The broth just wasn't as flavorful as pho95 or pho pasteur. And my noodles came all broken up. And it didn't seem to have a way to customize the pho orders like other pho restaurants, you just got beef or chicken pho. Oh, the only condiments on our table was siracha and hoisin sauce. Not the usual..... sambal chIlli, soy sauce, fish sauce, and chili oil which was really disappointing. The service was pretty mediocre too. There were 2 servers, and I'm sure they tried their best, but they needed help. I guess I am use to going to Vietnamese restaurants where they have a plethora of condiments and awesome pho broth. It's a new restaurant, maybe they will step up their game.

We heard through the grape vine that Saigon Cali was really good. With the plethora of Vietnamese restaurants, it had to be outstanding to get a good rec.Well, two bowls of pho; some of the most tasty and nicely balanced stock with the savor of the bones and marrow with flat noodles. The big chunks of beef made it all come together!!!!!!!! The appetizer of sweet and sour fried squid was fantastic. The egg rolls with the peanut sauce and crisp lettuce made it so much more than "just a dinner." The owner was so kind, made sure we got what we wanted and explained that all the seafood and spices are flown in from Saigon City (Ho Chi Minh City for the politically correct) ensuring fresh tasty and visual experience. This is my new favorite VN restaurant. Try it , finish up with sticky rice. As of Nov 27 they expect a wine and beer license in about 3 weeks. Till then, just bring you drinks and pay a small charge for service.Great service and friendly staff make this a hit. If you don't like Vietnamese pho and main dishes, try Chik Fillet.
