First timer here and it won't be my last! The hostess and servers were informative and attentive! The vibe is a great mix of hype, eclectic, sexy and energetic! I ordered a platter which included a nice mix of tastes from the menu. You can also order hookahs for your table There is also belly dancing but after 8 pm. If you are in the Dallas area, a true gem to experience!Note: Reservations are 2 hour max...but food comes out fast!My only negative experience was interaction with the parking attendants when leaving. When I arrived there was no one to park me, so I paid to park via parking lot machine. Upon return to my vehicle, an attendant appeared yelling at me to pay him 20 bucks. After taking a pic of my license plate even after explaining that I paid...I felt truly harassed! This won't stop me from visiting BUT I will not park in the lot.

Zero stars!! This was by far the most unorganized and chaotic restaurant I've ever been to. We were seated immediately when we arrived for our reservation and did not receive any water or acknowledgment for about 30 minutes, even with other servers, taking care of tables around us. We constantly flagged down servers to take our order which they eventually did and continued to flag down 4 individuals employees for the hookah menu. It took about an hour for food to come out and that was after we flagged down a random server to just close out our tab for our drinks. When the food did come out, it was cold we sent it back. They warmed up the same food and brought it right back out. The main issue is there were servers taking care of other tables around us and had no self-awareness that we were not satisfied or needed attention even with us yelling for them. We requested the manager and he never came a server from another area came over to take care of us although it was too late. We did appreciate her, but by then there was nothing she could do. I would not return. The food was very dry and cold and it's not worth spending your money.

As a big fan of Mediterranean cuisine, having traveled extensively through Europe during my time in the military, I was excited to celebrate my birthday at Saaya. The restaurant's ambiance and menu held promise, but unfortunately, the experience fell short in several areas. The evening started poorly with confusion over valet service. The attendant refused to take our vehicle, leaving my wife and me to park ourselves--an inconvenience that set the tone for the night. Upon checking in, we were seated quickly but told we needed to finish by 8:30 PM, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. This rushed approach, despite noting my birthday when making the reservation, soured the celebratory mood and erased any desire to enjoy extras like hookah or drinks at the bar.The ambiance, however, was a standout. The dim lighting and stylish décor created a romantic setting perfect for date night. We began with the lamb sliders and rock shrimp. The sliders were flavorful and well-prepared, but the rock shrimp was a disappointment--bland, overly breaded, and lacking the vibrancy I've come to expect from Mediterranean-inspired dishes. For drinks, I chose the Sultan's Sangria, which unfortunately fell flat, while my wife enjoyed her Ambassador 76 cocktail, a much brighter spot in the evening. Our entrée, the Kebab Platter with fries, was inconsistent. While the fries were perfectly crispy, the rice lacked texture, and the sparse vegetables left the dish feeling incomplete and unbalanced.Having enjoyed some of the best Mediterranean cuisine across Europe, I had high hopes for Saaya. While the ambiance was undeniably appealing, the rushed service and uneven food quality made for an underwhelming birthday dinner. With better attention to service and consistency, Saaya could better reflect the rich, bold flavors the Mediterranean is known for.

Saaya has a beautiful atmosphere! I went on a Thursday and there were belly dancers and a fire show. We sat on the patio which had the space heaters so that was nice during the night time! The food was amazing! The fries which sound so simple but they were really good! The basmati rice was delicious! The waitress was just okay. I would recommend this place to anyone in Dallas or those visiting!

The hookah was really good, and the waitress and servers were nice, but the manager or supervisor whoever was in charge along with some other people there, were extremely rude and disrespectful. It was a bad experience that left me feeling upset. I've been meaning to write a review for a long time but kept forgetting, so I'm finally doing it now. They acted like they didn't care at all, which was really disappointing. My buddies and I enjoyed the food and hookah, but by the end, we were left feeling disappointed because of how rude the people were. The place itself has a great vibe, and the food is excellent, but the attitude of the staff ruined the experience.

Went to this place on a Thursday night for a girls night. And let me start off with a list of pros and cons:Pros: ambiance was AMAZING! They had good music, belly dancers, and it was a nice oasis away from the usual places. Very unique spot! And the drinks there are BOMB. Cons: service was "meh" for a regular Thursday night. Hate to see this place when it's busy on a Friday night or Saturday. Not gonna comment too much on the food because I don't normally eat Mediterranean dishes. But what I got was pretty meh too.Overall: I'd come here if you are looking for good drinks and a different vibe away from the usual cutesy downtown places.

Great ambiance for date night, girls night, or a group celebration dinner. We came late-night on a Friday for drinks and appetizers; the music and vibe was so great that we ended up ordering a hookah and more cocktails.I order Hookah frequently and the quality here is definitely the BEST I've had anywhere in a very long time. The music is diverse and so is the crowd, which is refreshing and unique in comparison to many of the surrounding venues. This is the type of place that makes you forget you're in Dallas when you're inside. Definitely worth visiting again!

Saaya is always the vibe. Love taking my friends here for a different experience in Deep Ellum. Mediterranean food is good, they offer hookah inside and outside, bars, live DJ on the weekends, belly dancers, and domes you can step inside for an intimate gathering for karaoke. Jeff, one of the managers, and Oscar, the bartender, always takes care of me and makes me feel welcome when I go. My friends always have a good first time here. Definitely recommend for a great night out

This place is beautiful!!! The ambiance is definitely there. They do have a dress code, I'd check before you there. The food was definitely overpriced and the best. I'd eat before I go. Service was alright, they do take awhile to bring your food/drinks. They do have hookah and it's expensive and not really worth the price. I'd say go if you never been, but it's not my first option to pick from.
