Rudy's Chicken

Since the 90's I've been a fan of Rudy's. It's been a little over a decade now since I've been back but today that nostalgic smell and taste took over my body.I had the 3 pc leg basket and it did not disappoint. Love a hot crispy chicken and French fries. The wait wasn't so bad and the service was southern and kind.

I waited almost 2hrs. I probably won't come back lucky I'm just visiting. 9:07p and it 10:53p

I came before and the chicken was amazing the wings at least. So I came back for another try so I got the 4 wings with fries again. I made it home started to eat the food which it was a wing on top but when I went for the next piece of chicken and pulled it out and it was as a leg. I checked the other chicken and it was another leg. I got 1 wing and 2 legs tuck under the fries I don't like legs and that's not what I paid for. I felt like that was real lazy of them and if it wasn't anymore wings they could have said so very disappointing. Fool me once shame on you I'm not giving 2 more tries.

A staple in South Dallas that continues to survive the test of time. Admittedly, the chicken is less flavorful than my original visit 13 years ago but it still gets the job done for solid fried chicken. I wish they would've stuck with the fries they had from my OG visit years ago as well. I'll continue to support a couple times a year

Last week.Been wanting to try this place for the longest time. Working near the VA, today was the day!!!! Bland fried chicken; cold limp fries. The pickles and the kool-aid in a bottle were the show stoppers. So disappointed. Never again!

This place has been a favorite of mine for many years. Yes there is always a line and you will have to wait but it's more than worth the wait. Rudy's has some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. I usually order their chicken wings combo which comes with fries, pickles, & bread. Their seasoning is so good! They also have regular chicken, whole chickens, and chicken tenders. I recommend Rudy's Chicken but also advise anyone to pack their patience when going to the location.

We got the chicken breast basket! Everything was great with the exception of not giving a lot of pickles & peppers in the basket. Seasoning was good too! I definitely would go back to try the other items on the menu.

Food took forever to get but we finally got it. It was good, service just is always so slow. Rudy's is typically always good tho!

Delicious, seasoned and juicy chicken every time. Don't hesitate go get some you won't be disappointed.

Been going to Rudy's off and on for years. (((NEVER AGAIN))) ... took an extremely long time to get to the window, 25 minuets, then took about another 10 minuets for someone to come to the window. A lady finally came and asked for my order #, handed me my food and it was cold, I always try my fries and they had absolutely no heat and greasy. I gave order back to a guy who came to the window after I tapped on it and I assume he stuck it in a microwave because the ketchup packs were hot, I asked him what happened and his reply was "to be honest with you, it wasn't that cold" WTF?? Then I couldn't leave for another 5 minutes because there was a car truck in front of me at the second window waiting on their order SMH! ((((NEVER AGAIN!!!))) DO NOT GOT TO THIS DUMP, IT'S GARBAGE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TRASH!!!!
