The aroma of all the wonderful smelling food instantly hits you when you walk in the door. The service was great and the food was really amazing. A must try for anyone wanting some wonderful Indian food. Our waitress was amazing and the prices were amazing.

I recently visited Royal Indian Cuisine and Lounge in Cedar Hill, and my experience was a mix of highs and lows. When we arrived, the place was empty, and the dining area was clean. The waitress was nice and welcoming.However, the women's bathroom definitely needed some attention. If I had gone to the restroom before eating, I probably wouldn't have stayed. While I understand the aesthetics are older, the cleanliness could be significantly improved.On a positive note, the food was absolutely amazing. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Goan Shrimp Curry, and Garlic Naan, all of which were exceptional. The Chicken Tikka Masala had a rich tomato gravy with a special house touch, the Goan Shrimp Curry was flavorful with coconut cream and whole red chilies, and the Garlic Naan was perfectly prepared.This was my first time having Indian cuisine, and I'm excited to try it again at another location. Overall, the dining experience was great due to the fantastic food, but the state of the restroom might prevent me from returning. It may seem trivial to some, but cleanliness in all areas of a restaurant is important to me. Hope you got your bathroom clean! Ha ha ha!

I was in the mood for Indian food on a Sunday afternoon and hubby found this place in Cedar Hill. It seems to be newer to the area as my hubby recalled some other restaurant occupying the space prior. Either way, I'm so glad we found this place.We were immediately greeted and allowed to sit where we wanted. The decor is minimal yet clean and airy. The place was pretty empty except for us and one other party of 5.We ordered chicken tikka masala, Tandoori mix (chicken, shrimp, & lamb), basmati rice, garlic naan bread and a masala chai tea. Everything was delicious. Not one bad thing to say. Definitely plan on returning to try some other items. The butter chicken is next up for me.

The service here is excellent, kind staff that are very helpful. The food is excellent! Everything was delicious. Chicken Tikka Masala is what I ordered and it was amazing. Great location with plenty of parking. Whether you're already a fan of Indian food or you want to try something new, you'll love it here! The prices for the portions are an excellent value.

Yelp reviews helped me decide to come and try this establishment on a Sunday. I was greeted by a kind and friendly woman who took my order. I chose the chicken tikka masala medium heat with both cheese and garlic naan.My wait was 15 min and I included my receipt. Tip included it was around $27. Once home the naan was still warm and melted in my mouth with the sauces from the tikka masala. The flavors just sat on my tongue and the flavors eased throughout my mouth and lips.I will say the rice and chicken once dipped contributed to a flavor and meal like no other. This establishment is fairly new and I hope it's here to stay. The ambiance was calming and friendly as families packed in.Regardless of your choice to sit inside or pick up to go, I encourage you to stop and try the many options on the menu. You won't be disappointed and you will return. Thank you for making my tastebuds happy.

Definitely a family owned restaurant, but don't let that fool you into thinking it is a hole in the wall. Excellently decorated if you want to dine in. Service is excellent and food is quick but made from scratch. The samosas were very good and flavorful. I had the vegetable curry and it was delicious. My husband had kerala pepper chicken and got it medium which had plenty of heat. We will definitely be back. Like other reviewers the garlic naan is exceptional.

I wanted so much to love this place--we need good restaurants in the Cedar Hill-Duncanville area so badly. The waitress was very sweet, but so soft-spoken she was hard to understand. My chicken tikka was heavy on sauce, light on chicken, and pretty bland. Hubby''s mixed tandoori was all overcooked and dry. Son's chicken vindaloo was better, but he ordered hot which was too hot for me. Standout was delicious garlic naan, very thin, light, and yummy. I will give them another chance and try another menu item, just on the basis on the great naan.
