REALLY GOOD burgers. Lots of unique specialty options plus the ability to customize them as well as the option to build your own. Patties are thick. Fries are really good. I love the texture of the chips but wish they weren't so sweet. We get delivery from here quite often.

Stopped in to try it with my wife. A few observations:1. Strong on style but short on substance. The place works hard to cultivate a quirky goat-centered theme, but it just seems forced. And odd. Not sure what the theme has to do with the food.2. Speaking of odd, the burger varieties have some odd pairings. Sauces that seem to compete with one another on the same burger, flavors that drown one another out. There's something to be said for a very simple, well-crafted burger. Attempts to overwhelm the palate with multiple combinations of ingredients may SEEM intriguing when you read about them on the menu, but they just don't work in real life.3. Tasted like tennis shoe rubber. My burger did anyway. Not sure what the sauce was, but it tasted like the bottom of a converse sneaker.4. Overpriced. This is the classic "charge $13 for a burger and make people pay an extra $4 for fries" thing that Five Guys does. Not better. Just way more expensive. There are certainly better burgers to be had in the Denton area (Roosters Roadhouse, for one) for less.It was a sunny Saturday afternoon at 12:30, and the place wasn't half full at a time when other establishments (Chuy's, Old West) were packed. Should have seen it as a sign.

Is good if you're looking for a good burger, definitely stop by a little messy, but that's honestly the best way to have a Berger.

A last minute date at Rodeo Goat with my wife made for a pleasant surprise, albeit quite messy dinner. It's been open almost a year now in the old location where a Cajun place was, next to BJ's and across the street from Chuy's. The complex list of burgers can be a little overwhelming, but my wife felt like the closest thing to a normal cheeseburger with mustard on it was the DCC, which we found out stands for Denton Country Club. Thick tomato cuts, pickles and mustard highlight this gem. Very great flavors but, fair warning, if you try to cut it in half it could just become a mess. I ordered the Chaka Oaxaca burger which features a chorizo mixed burger with a fried egg on it. Concept is fantastic because egg on a burger is one of my favorites and it comes with chipotle mayonnaise on it as I prefer mayo over mustard. Was a fantastic burger with a couple of downsides though. The egg was busted prior to arriving to me so the yolk had dripped down the bread to the bottom, which then made it the bun sticky and actually peel off on my fingers (eeeewww). Again makes for a mess man those thick chunks of avocado pair so well with the chorizo burger....but as advertised it's definitely a fiesta in your mouth. Those two burgers with a side of fries came to about $31 and my they check out on a hand held device so my wife said she left 20% to the very friendly and helpful waitress. No matter what people say, it always helps if the staff are smiling and appearing as if they are happy to have you dined with them. Never gets old. While not a fan of messy burgers that can fall apart, the flavor and service is well worth it...

Service was good but food was sub-par. Fries with cheddar bacon & jalapeño's came out over done like they had been sitting in the kitchen too long. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich called Firebirds was very dry and pretty much tasteless. My wife enjoyed her nanny, goat, nekked burger though.

There are a lot of burger joints in Denton. And a lot of restaurants with burgers named after celebrities with local ties. I don't know if that happens in most cities, but people in Texas go crazy for it.I, myself, go crazy for a good-tasting burger, fried potatoes, and local beer. All of which I found at Rodeo Goat.My only complaint is its location. It is no fun to get to and there's not much else around within walking distance. Having visited the Fort Worth and Dallas Rodeo Goats, the Denton location is lacking. It feels more like eating at a Ruby Tuesday than a locally owned establishment. ...even with a burger named the Norah Jones.

Walked in and were seated on the patio fairly quickly (it's heated, very comfortable temp). Our waitress Jamie was quick to come get our drink order and explain the menu speedily efficiently. We ordered the Norah Jones and the Bodacious and we ordered some sweet potato fries that are shareable. Both burgers were hot, huge, and delicious! Bursting with flavor.. only minor disappointment was the sweet potato fries, weren't as crunchy as I'd prefer but still good flavor! Next time I'll try the regular fries and see how they compare. I will be back again!

Ordered from the bar and sat at one of the tables. Kate the bartender had not a problem taking my order. Margarita is good. Service was swift and quick. Decor is diverse. Plenty of seating including outside patio that will be nice during cooler weather. Kade one of the servers was friendly and attentive. Although burger is a little smaller then I expected it is seasoned and cooked well The hand punched fries (large serving) nothing to brag about. I will try different fries and burgers upon my next visit.

Somehow I never noticed this awesome eatery not far from Buc-cees on I-35, and I've clearly been missing out. The menu is a smorgasbord of burgerliciousness, with more than a dozen varieties to choose from. I went old school with the simple D.C.C. Burger (chopped iceberg lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, cheddar, mayo and mustard) and a side of hand punched fries. The service was swift, burger was cooked just right, and fries were on point. I'll definitely be back with a friend to try something more adventuresome, like the popular Bodacious Burger (American cheese, bacon, crispy onions, grilled jalapeños, pickles, smoked jalapeño mayo, and BBQ sauce) and some Goat Balls for dessert (fried dough filled with Bavarian cream). Skip the Buc-cees brisket sandwich next time and pop by Rodeo Goat instead.
