"Grazie, y'all!" It's impossible not to be instantly charmed by Rocco's in Flower Mound. Great vibe, super-friendly service, and it smells like fresh-baked pizza and pasta from the moment you open the door.We loved:* Variety: There's a lot of choices here. If you're hungry, it's hard to choose.* Flavor: Everything we had was elevated. The marina? Perfectly seasoned. The alfredo sauce? Buttery and rich. Desserts? Just the right amount of sweet but not overwhelming.* Value: We had 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 desserts - all for a total price still in 2 digits.Honestly I thought this was mainly a takeout place and expected the dine-in space to reflect that, but it's homey and welcoming. The chairs are even comfy. Stop in when you want some great Italian food.

Oh Rocco's....what a gem of a place! It's cozy, casual, and quaint. The cafe tables and chairs remind me of an italian bistro. You can even bring your own wine if you'd like or try a glass of theirs.I have been here three times now and each time have had excellent service along with delicious food. The garlic knots are divine. They are buttery and freshly baked with just the right amount of garlic and parmesan. As a family, we have tried the fettucine alfredo, the chicken parmesean, a pizza, the baked ziti,and the chicken and the regular meat lasagna. The entrees are served with a salad and I have always had to ask for a box to bring home half my entree as the portions are generously sized. My kids swear by the fettucine and the ziti. The pizza was delicious. And the lasagnas (my order and favorites) were so good. The chicken lasagna is served with the alfredo sauce and is rich and decadent with plenty of chicken and spinach to fill the layers. The meat lasagna is probably my favorite though, because it is my ultimate comfort food....cheesy, saucy, beefy, and served warm and bubbling. This is a great addition to our neighborhood and we are so happy to have this place nearby.

Let me start by talking about what was memorable about the visit: service. This is raising my review to a 4-star rating. Both dishes we had were average at best. We had chicken marsala and chicken parmesean. We both felt that the sauces lacked seasoning. The protein portion was much smaller that similarly priced entrees at other local Italian restaurants After placing our order, we were ready to enjoy our salads. Not bad, except they had to be put aside since our entree cane one minute after we received the first course. Salad set aside so that we could have a hot meal.Service was very attentive. Dining area was well lit and clean.

This is a great restaurant for a date night, the food is incredible and I would highly recommend it!

Nice comfy feel. Welcoming staff. Lunch special for $10.99 includes salad. The lemon butter really made for a too-tangy taste for me. My daughter thought it was fine so we'll say it's right on that line of too much for most. Chicken pasta with lemon butter is how they presented it on the sign out front. Rolls are those garlic knots. Great and came with the meal, ok to ask for more. The hit for our lunch was my daughter's spaghetti and meatball dish (meatball Parmesan on the menu). Worth a try as the flavor and juiciness off the charts. Caesar salad came with both dishes and so not a bad lunch deal between the special and also the $13.99 meatball Parmesan. First time for us seemed hit or miss. I think the waiter mentioned chicken parmigiana as regular Monday special going forward so might be worth a shot to try that date. He said it by far was their most popular dish. They do make pizzas, subs and other Italian favorites so plenty of options for everyone. Might be growing pains as both our table and the table next to us were given the wrong order initially. All was fixed within ten minutes though so reasonable amount of time. Might be hit or miss right now but will stop by for lunch another time.

We were happy to see a new Italian restaurant in the place that used to be Swirl! The new decor is cute and inviting, and I love the blue and white chairs. I did find the large TVs to be a little distracting from the dining experience, as a place like this does not need TVs.The service was very friendly and attentive. We did not have to wait for anything!The Garlic rolls were delicious. The house salad was just so-so...and not really necessary. Our entrees were very good and very generous portions for the price. We were very impressed the generous portions, and the leftovers heated up well! We will be back!

Immediately upon entering, nice service and very good waiters. Easy going ambiance with light or little music and a background of Italy (that looks to be directly from Google earth :) Food was medium priced at medium but fulfilling portions... don't come in here expecting Texas sized portions...they are enough. The food all tasted amazing, with the house salad being fresh and my food absolutely delicious.

THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREEEEE! Gluten free pizza and pasta. My husband ordered the gluten free Rocco's specialty pizza. It was delicious! He said it was the best gluten free pizza he's ever had. I ordered the meaty calzone and it was also delicious. We will definitely be returning! Bummed we don't live closer.

BEST chicken caesar salad I have ever had - grilled chicken was awesome. Louis was a GREAT server.

This place treats their servers TERRIBLY. Please don't support this business. Also, the food isn't even authentic Italian
