I went here after playing Pokemon. Did not realize this is near the university as I saw a lot of Pokestop and gyms and played a little before heading. I went safe and just got a large custard that is mixed. The service was good and she was friendly. I got it in a cup for $5.50. A lot cheaper than getting it at the amusement park. Overall the ice cream was great and I enjoyed it.

Walking into this place, I was blown away by the heavy smell of chemicals. Glad they clean the place, but being able to breathe is important too. Also, not the smell you want while eating ice cream. Def not my favorite custard. For custards they have soft serve (comes out of a machine) and regular (where they scoop it). I got the soft serve chocolate bc they didn't have anything chocolate in the regular. Come on, no chocolate! It was smooth and creamy, but lacking flavor. Luckily I added toppings. The price is great for the amount you get. But it definitely needs more flavor. I have had Rita's in the past and remember liking it much more!

It was very tasty, the custard. I had two scoops one apple pie, which was nice because they had chunks of apple with a pie crust and a nice flavor, and the salted caramel which was perfect. They also have apparently tasty ices which I'll have to try next time cause I didn't get a chance to do that. I brought my friends and we had a great time.

I stumbled onto this location when attempting to get boba, which is located on the other end of this location. Nevertheless, we made the decision to visit this location in order to experience something new, and I don't regret it in the slightest.It's a tiny establishment that primarily sells custard-based mixes; both inside and out, it looks beautiful and well-kept. They offer a menu outside, but I'd suggest stepping inside to browse as they'll have the most recent items there since they create everything from scratch and occasionally have outdated menus.We purchased the mango-based and Reese's-based custards, both of which are excellent. The Reese's one was quite tasty and had a strong peanut butter flavor, which is exactly what I was looking for because occasionally products don't taste nearly as wonderful as they claim to. The mango one, though, was also really nice. I cherished their custard because it was not just flavorful but also not excessively sugary. It was essentially the ideal fusion of the two.Overall, it was quite excellent and incredibly refreshing as it helped combat the Texas summer heat, so I'd advise anyone to swing by if they were local. I'll definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again.

Why did I not know about this place. Wanted some ice cream and saw this on Yelp so we decided to give it a try. Ended up with watermelon ice and both the hubs and I raved about it all the way home. It was so good we went back today only to find out they sold out of watermelon and hadn't made anymore. What a major bummer. I will def call next time cause now all I want is watermelon Italian ice. Call before you go to make sure they have the flavors you want but omg the watermelon!

Their frozen custard is amazing - soft, smooth, and creamy! I got the gelati which I thought would be a weird combo (sour patch red Italian ice and vanilla custard) but it turned out to be my fave thing on the menu.

The ice cream and custards are delicious, but I did give it this rating because for the past 2 days I have been calling to get an update on my job application and no one is answering. Beforehand, when I did call last week, I would receive the same answer on multiple occasions, "our manager is not here" and the phone number that was provided, I still did not get a response. But I would love to be a part of the team and contribute which is why I am trying to get in contact with Rita's!
