What a great place! We were first introduce to rise in Dallas in 2023. Realizing there was one near my daughter in Plano a few weeks ago, I introduced her to the spot. We were delighted in the food and the service. At the time we split a soufflé and dessert and had coffees. As a bar manager in high end restaurants most of her career, it was a wonderful lunch for her. Most recently hubby and I took another couple for a late lunch who had seen it, heard great things but had not been in yet. The bread! - we should just stop there but why? :D We shared the artichoke Andree which was delicious. The daily specials were a duck a l'orange soufflé and a crab soufflé, We had 2 of each for the table. Desserts were a bananas foster soufflé and a creme brûlée, along with cappuccinos. I love French cuisine so this place is a no-brainer. The quaint atmosphere, sustainable decor, tableware, napkins...(read the menu info) all makes the place a warm, inviting and return-to place. Finally, the staff. Each visit has been very attentive, friendly and caring. During the last visit, the men ordered drinks - which the bar ran out of. They sent someone immediately to a local store to buy more. When the 2nd round finally came around, they were so appreciative of the patience and understanding! They even comp'd the two drinks as a thank you for the wait/delay.rise is a treat for sure, and it's on the permanent list of options for us.

I've been to the Dallas location before and have had great experiences there! I was excited to find out there is a new location in Plano. I had a reservation and had to made adjustments to it last minute. The hostess was accommodating and assisted with that over the phone. We arrived on time but there was a little wait for the table.Service could have been better, our server had an attitude and wasn't attentive or seemed to care at all, maybe she was having a bad day. Our food was great, we ordered soufflés, salads and a charcuterie board. I'd love to give this location another try but certainly hope they will take the feedback and improve on the service.

We decided to try it out as a new adventure date night. Neither of us had tried soufflés before. The atmosphere is dark, cozy & romantic. We tried a bit of everything starting with the French onion soup. It was delicious!! We also had a savory chicken. Finished with pecan praline & hot chocolate. My husband loved the hot chocolate. The service was impeccable!! Our server was attentive & great with recommendations. Personally, soufflés are not my fav. It's like eating fluff. This is my personal preference nothing against the restaurant. We loved the experience. We would go back for soup & dessert!

Great food. Super spacious and cute place. Wonderful presentation and customer service. The waiters were ALL wonderful and attentive. For those not too keen on soufflés, they have sandwiches and salads as well.

Overall a unique experience and good is6 you like souffles. Ambiance is cozy and rustic. Service was good, but could've been better for the price. Food... Let's just say you're going there for the souffles.+ Cauliflower Gouda souffle was on point + Frito pie souffle was special+ French onion soup was perfect+ Marshmallow soup was a fancy tomatoe soup- sandwich was disappointing= Banana Foster souffle was ok... Very mild flavor of banana and couldn't tell the foster part at all

What a great dining experience and taste some great soufflés. The only downside of my dining experience was that was it very dark. No natural light, even though they tried their best to create a warm and cozy ambience. It is very dark inside and feels a little being in a fake enchanted forest. But the food was hands down just amazing. From the bread and butter and the savory soufflé. I tried their crab cake soufflé and also their cranberry cake soufflé. Both were soft, melting in your mouth creamy, seasoned to perfection. It was like eating clouds. A great dining experience.

I love Rise and the Lovers Lane location is just so charming. I was afraid that going to the Plano location our experience would not be as magical-I was wrong! This location is just as charming as the Lovers Lane location. Not only that, but the service here was spot on. Our server, I hate that I forgot his name, was attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. His interactions with us made all the difference. He anticipated our needs with a smile and good conversation, he really transformed our lunch experience from an ordinary meal into a memorable one. Of course his recommendations were spot on. The cauliflower and brie soufflé wouldn't have been my first choice, but I ordered it from his recommendation and it was out of this world delicious. I'll be back for this soufflé. The marshmallow soup is always a must for me. This soup experience lived up to the memories dancing around in my head of how flavorful and texturally delightful this soup was last time I had it. The warm bread served in that interesting contraption with yummy spreadable butter is always fun and for some reason I always think about taking one of those bread contraptions home, but stop myself and go for a tea towel instead (which so far has been a great choice). Their tea towels are my favorite. They are so absorbent and just the right size for a kitchen towel. The Rise towels are my number one (no pun intended) kitchen towels at home. Get one for your kitchen. They make great gifts too. And cheers to a Rise location coming soon to Tulsa, OK! I would love to see one in OKC, maybe in the new OAK project. June 2024
