i beg you, please visit restaurant beatrice immediately!!!!! the food is decadent and prepared with precision, the staff is inviting and informative, and the ambiance is quaint and classy. i will scream it from a mountain top, that i love supporting quality local businesses and this is definitely one of them!! i urge one to do research on the businesses they choose to patronize, because understanding the business model of restaurant beatrice is truly inspirational. the restaurant locally sources as much produce and meats as possible, they hire from the neighborhood, they make sauces and stews from scratch. needless to say, they care about the environment and their impact on the environment in every way. all of this same care is applied to every dish. the menu is seasonal and based on what is available. which i love because visiting is always a surprise of what will be on the menu! the menu is inclusive and offers dishes that cater to a variety of dietary needs. there are not enough great things in can say about restaurant beatrice, and urge foodies to visit!! bon appétit

Third times the charm? We are back and had the pleasure of spending New Year's Eve dinner at restaurant Beatrice in Dallas Texas. Met with Southern cuisine and fine dining paired with a lieu of cocktails that will have you rethinking that New Year's resolution. However, at some points the service felt a little rushed, and the kitchen seemed to be channeling some extra New Year's energy, resulting in a slight appetizer adventure. We're definitely coming back for round two - we're calling it our "Beatrice: The Remix" tour.Sidenote:"Do you want your cornbread?? Why yes for $140, what's an extra 4 or 5? We would have love some especially with how great their gumbo is! Troux!!!! Until next time Beatrice.

Visited for brunch and surprised there weren't more people. The parking is a little dicey but they do have a shared lot with other restaurants. Service was really good and they make everything in house - from the bar to the kitchen. They change the menu often based on what's in season as well. We had catfish with grits, french toast, bacon, and biscuits. It was all pretty good. The French toast could have been thicker and more flavorful --definitely lacked the cinnamon flavor. The praline syrup is fantastic.

12 out of 10 my daughter gives this beautiful spot and I understand why because It has heart and a rich Soul which separates it from other restaurants. The inside gives high end quality w white table cloths and staff who welcome you as you've come home and everyone gets the same warm greating. The Outside patio with wooden tables and large screen TV's made me look forward to coming in warmer months. the inside is upscale w white table cloths Perfect for a casual or dressy date night. Very cozy. So glad to find a Creole Spot. Very diverse crowd with plenty of availability on an early Sunday. The nostalgic Soul music gently playing in the background kept me in the moment enjoying the atmosphere as we enjoyed the delicious food and so befitting of the food coming from the Soul of the Chef. I will also add that the Wait staff was amazing and I heard other waiters coming back to their tables keeping them abreast to any delays or changes in availability in their food order (It was after Valentines Day). I literally wanted to order more Beignets as my meal, but my daughter made me order food. Please be prepared to TIP generously and pay with ONE Check so show your appreciation in 2025 for great Restaurants and waitstaff!

4.5. Came for brunch. We ordered a cup of gumbo, buttermilk salad, biscuits and gravy, a side of fried chicken, and bread pudding. Everything was great - I loved the hash with the biscuits and gravy and the bread pudding especially. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful in making menu selections. We were shocked how empty it was this morning- we will definitely be back to try their dinner menu!

Cute little restaurant in Bishop Arts. I've been wanting to try for a while, especially since it's been nominated for several awards! I came here for date night on a Friday and was able to make last minute reservations without issue. There is a parking lot with plenty of parking. We were seated immediately. Service was excellent and we definitely appreciated the recommendations. Overall, I think the food was just okay. We got the crawfish fondue and fresh catch and added crab to share. The crawfish fondue could have used more salt and bread. We ended up having to order an additional side of bread to finish it off. The fresh catch was delicious with the crab - vey flavorful and well-seasoned. However, the grits were not my cup of tea.

Cute atmosphere but the service and food was just ok. Beatrice is not a very large restaurant which is great for dining in an intimate space. I came with a group of 8. The service was a little slow considering the size. We went for an early dinner so there weren't many people there. Our server was very nice though. The food was ok. The bread basket featured a variety and was very good. It came out hot and had butter and jams. We also ordered the cajun rolls which were a special for the evening. These were good as well.I love duck personally so I was excited to try it here. It was ok so didn't blow me away. One of my friends ordered mac and cheese along with jambalaya. She didn't finish either and felt they were bland. The mac and cheese looked ok.One of the girls ordered the hummingbird (I think that's what it was called) cake. It looked really good. Others did have a small piece and seemed to enjoy it.Overall, no return visit for me but could be worth it if you go and order other things outside of what we had.

This is such a cute space with great food to match. My sisters and I came here for an early dinner on a Friday night. I'd encourage you to make a reservation unless you're dining solo or with a party of two. The service was outstanding! The hostess was very warm and welcoming and sat us straight away. The server was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu and flavor profiles of all the dishes. The food was so very well executed. The fried chicken was perfectly crisp and flavorful throughout. It is a big dish and can probably be shared between two. Every bite of the pasta was perfectly spiced but not hot. The bread pudding was very good with the praline ice cream which I believe was made in house. They also do seafood boils on the patio for which I will definitely be returning. Bonus tip- the parking is in the back of the restaurant

Restaurant Beatrice is just a small jaunt off the beaten path, but more than worth the trip. We had a large group on the Saturday of St. Patrick's Day weekend and were surprised to see that it wasn't very busy. Our server was great, joked around with us and did a great job managing all of our orders. A lady that seemed to be a manager never said anything to us, but I saw her giving us dirty looks. We may have been loud, but we weren't being obnoxious. We were acting like adults who hadn't seen each other in years (in some cases). I'm going to ignore her for this review. Anyway, back to the food. My husband had the duck confit and I ordered the chicken & waffle (crispy). My husband isn't a huge fan of sweets and syrups, but he was still talking about the bite of my waffle with praline syrup the next evening. I would definitely return. The menu isn't large, but I'm thinking it's because they know what they do well and there's nothing wrong with that! The prices are a bit higher than you might expect, but again, worth it. The decor is charming and clean.
