Real thai is tucked in a little strip center near First Chinese BBQ. I saw that they had Khao Ka Moo and boat noodles, so wanted to go. Thai Pakse in Fort Worth closed last yearish and I really liked both dishes there, so Real Thai is the closest place to me that serves them.Khao Ka moo. Tender pork hock with Chinese broccoli, Pickled mustard greens, and 2 eggs in a delicious sauce. They give you a sauce on the side as well. A vinegary sauce that gives the dish a tangy kick. The pork hock fell apart the moment you touched it. the combination of the pork, broccoli, and mustard greens is so good. All three of my favorite things in one dish. Son got duck soup, husband got boat noodles, and daughter got pad kra pow. Boat noodles is not clearly named boat noodles, it's beef noodle soup on the menu. By the description, you can tell it's boat noodles. It's their take on the boat noodles. Without blood, I think. Boat noodles usually has a murkier look to it and with a slightly irony taste. This version was good also. Definitely coming back. Casual place. Service was decent.

A true hidden gem in Arlington, TX! Don't let the outside (or the look of shopping area where they're located) deter you from checking this place out! I visited the Dallas/Allen/Arlington area last month and got to try this Thai restaurant, and couldn't be happier! LOCATION: There are plenty of parking spaces in front of the restaurant. The restaurant itself is quite spacious with plenty of tables in the middle , a few booths on one side and a few tables for big parties on the other. I'm from Austin, TX, Thai; born & raised and know a thing or two about Thai cooking (check out my deserted Instagram account ; @eatsnstyle and see it for yourself ) let me tell you I can't find any Thai restaurants that have such an extensive menu (literally their menu is quite long) and execute them all like "Real Thai Cuisine" does. I really love their 'Appetizers' and 'Thai Authentic' sections of the menu which have several of my favorite Thai comfort street-food dishes that I grew up eating, for example Khao Ka Moo (Braised pork leg/pork hocks) and Khao Mun Gai (Thai-style Hainanese chicken & rice).SERVICE: Staff were friendly and service was fast. We tried these dishes and we loved everything:FOOD: - STEAMED THAI DUMPLINGS: these were legit!! Tasted just like the Thai-style dumplings you will find in Thailand (soft, bouncy, delicious, and topped with fried garlic, and served with black vinegar soy) - HEAVEN BEEF JERKY (it's called 'Nua Sawaan' in Thailand. Nua = beef, Sawaan = heaven). The beef was seasoned well and tender. It pairs perfectly with sticky rice. - THAI SAUSAGE: You need this!!Delicious, good seasoning with the right balance of meatiness and fattiness. "Mama-Mia"- TUM TAD COMBO LAO STYLE comes with Moo Ping (grilled pork skewers - delicious but wish it was less sweet and more (herb) seasoning), fried chicken wings (finger licking good ), boiled egg, chicharrones, and veggies. We absolutely loved it. (You can adjust your spiciness (1-5).- KHAO KA MOO: tender pork meat, and such comfort food!- YEN TA FO (noodle soup with pink yentafo sauce): tasted authentic and was seasoned perfectly!- PAD THAI: I normally don't like to order Pad Thai at any Thai restaurants because I found it's quite disappointing. However, "Real Thai Cuisine's" Pad Thai exceeded my expectations. They use the right noodles (Sen Chan noodles) which have the right amount of chew to them, not falling apart, and absorb all the seasoning well. Their Pad Thai seasoning was also on point, I didn't even have to add anything to it!All in all, the best Thai food I have eaten in years!!! The taste of their food transported me back home. I find dishes from most of the Thai restaurants in the United States tend to be too sweet for no apparent reason, but "Real Thai Cuisine" sets themselves apart in this category, and truly represents the taste of Thai food (spiciness, saltiness, sourness, with a hint of sweetness in savory food) in good light. Check them out, and thank me later!

This place was an A+. I got the red curry and my friend got the BBQ pork fried rice. Both were absolutely delicious. If I had to say anything negative maybe a TAD bit on the pricy side however what isn't, but service was absolutely fantastic and food was delicious. My new favorite Thai spot!

I know it hasn't been very long since my last review, but I felt compelled to update after going in person a couple times now! I told yall we couldn't stop eating this food... and I still haven't taken many photos, ugh! I'm telling you once this food is in front of you there are no thoughts beyond "eat immediately." It's too good. I'm making my way through their curries and so far I've had the red most often but also the green, yellow, and massaman. That leaves panang and pineapple to look forward to, then maybe I'll move on to pad thai (I need to ask them about gluten free options). Meanwhile, the soup Jon loves is the Khao soi gai (I named the wrong soup in my last review oops) which is chicken and egg noodles in a yellow curry broth with crunchy egg noodles on top! He says he wants this to be his last meal before death... I would die happy eating the Tom Kha soup. The restaurant is in a busy strip mall on Collins with lots of neighboring Asian owned businesses. It's warmly lit and cozy inside, just one big, open, square room with lots of tables. Our waitress was lovely and recommended beer for Jon and made sure everything was just right. Obviously I thoroughly enjoyed my canned Coke poured fresh over ice, though I considered getting a Thai coffee. They also have Thai tea, green tea, boba, lemonade, sparkling lime, all your Coca Cola brand soft drinks, and chompoo (pink) milk which I want to try, because how cute?Prices here are fantastic especially for this food, which is truly insanely good. Somehow it's all just richer and better seasoned or better balanced than most, or something. The chef really is phenomenal and the staff and the menu won't let you down.

The service is nice but everything is way too sweet for my taste. We had khao soi, pad thai and some other dishes, the portion is too big and the noodle dishes are super sweet. Not authentic at all.

Second visit. Came back to enjoy the deep rich flavors. My sponsor had Penang Curry with Shrimp. I ordered Pad Woon Sen with Chicken. It was a quiet environment with some beautiful photo of Thailand. Lot of pick up activity.

One of my favorite Thai cuisines in the DFW area. Always fast service and deliciously large portions that I always get to take home and enjoy later! I've tried the Thai dumplings, pad Thai, drunken noodles, and crab fried rice and have never been disappointed. My family and I are regular customers here.

This place is small, but the decorations are lovely. The service was fast and the food was good. I only give them four stars because it's not the best Thai I've had, but also not the worst. May go back, not really sure.

Yall I'm so addicted to this place it is RIDICULOUS. I want to be a pad thai!! I probably order from this place way more than I should but it's because it's SO GOOD every time and they never fail!! The food is always so well seasoned and is prepared so fast. I had a Thai restaurant that I loved in Las Colinas and hadn't been able to find a comparable restaurant until now. This is officially my favorite Thai restaurant. It's SO GOOD.
