So this was a place we frequented on the regular and very much enjoyed when we lived in the area. We happened on it again today and were pleasantly surprised with the renovations they made. Very sexy chic I think for a neighborhood restaurant! Service is great and the cleanliness is notable. Their fresh bread is a delight to eat and their blood orange mimosas are light and fresh! Great start to our Sunday together!

Quite good Italian food at Preston Royal. There are lots of options in and around this area for Italian but we stopped here to try it out. We were not disappointed. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful. The chicken piccata and lasagna were both very good and filling. They have a decent wine selection with a number of Tuscans.

Arugula salad - so simple but my go to here. The seafood fra diavolo, mussels (seasonal), and sangria are additional options I would recommend.The pizza-wood fired- which is my style!

Sunday brunch on one of their buy one get one free day. my husband had the Barada salad and I had the French toast. Need to remind myself next time to say no powdered sugar.. nicely cooked bacon. Ameen provided excellent service.

Food was terribly over priced, nothing special about it. The ambiance is fantastic and so was the service, no complaints there.

Good service and great food. My favorite thing was the tomato and cheese salad. Not crowded on a weeknight. Family friendly.

This review is for take-out service only.On May 23, 2023 at 5:30 pm, we ordered 2 pizzas, gnocchi, and a salad for takeout. I arrived at the requested time, parked in one of two designated takeout parking places along Royal Lane, and called to inform the restaurant that I was there for my order. Then nothing. Ten minutes passed and no food was brought out to me. I called again to ask the status of my order and told it would be right out. Still took another 5-7 minutes to bring out my order. Then, when I arrived home, I found that the pizza was soggy, the gnocchi was cold, and the lettuce in our salad was not fresh.Not a good experience.

I had an incredible dining experience at this restaurant! The tortellini with its rich cheese sauce was a true delight, especially when paired with the recommended flatbread. The braised short rib had a unique flavor, though the texture could have been a bit more tender. Nonetheless, the mushroom noodles were a highlight. The tiramisu for dessert was an absolute masterpiece, boasting a perfect balance of coffee flavor and creamy goodness. Joseph's service was impeccable. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!

The reviews are all over the place so wasn't sure what to expect. We ordered the calamari app, Veal parmigiana, and the gnocchi wild boar bolognese. MORE than enough food for two. We both agreed the marina sauce was PERFECTION! Everything was very good! Perfectly cooked and had great seasonings/flavor. Would definitely eat here again. Why it's not 5 stars, the server brought red wine instead of the white that was ordered. Had to keep asking for little things (silverware, extra plates for shared dishes etc)
