Have tried this place both for brunch and for take out. This review is for the dine-in experience. We went in early on a Saturday - soon after opening. We had visited the Fort Worth location before so was excited about trying the Aledo location. Interior design was cute and modern, similar to the feel at the other location, but still with its own Aledo charm. Our waitress was quick to greet us, and offered us a perspective on her favorite items on the menu. I chose the Chicken Parmesean while my date chose the spicy rigatoni. Let me tell you - biting into the chicken parm was an out of body experience. Could be that I was definitely hungry, but the flavors and the crispiness of the breading was a top tier moment. Way to big of a portion size for me, but I tried my hardest to not waste any of it. The spicy rigatoni was also good, from my understanding, with no complaints and with a good amount of flavor. Overall had a great experience with both food, ambiance, and staff. Would try again.

I'm a fan of FAR hospitality restaurants, they always have good food and service and Press in Aledo is no exception. It's busy and I waited several months after opening to go there and it was still jam packed. We started with the Parmesan truffle fries which are served with ketchup, bbq sauce, and aioli. I tried all 3 dips and all were great. For my entree, I got the chicken sandwich. It's lightly breaded and crispy. Very tasty, served on a nice bun (probably homemade) cheese, tomato, and a house made slaw. It's delicious. Wife got the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Grilled cheese made with several different cheeses and tomato soup is topped off with a balsamic drizzle. This place is a bit on the pricey side. In addition to truffle fry app, chicken sandwich, grilled cheese& tomato soup entree, we had two kids meals and waters to drink, it was $83 before tip. But overall, it's a great addition to Aledo. Might want to make a reservation.

Happy hour is great! Drinks are good and the food is excellent. The grain bowl and classy burger my favs. Chicken sandwich is good. The cafe burger is very good as well if you like a strong cheese , think the same bite as blue cheese but it's not blue cheese (not my thing). Old fashioned is very good as well. Definitely a top spot in Aledo.

The whipped ricotta dip is dreamy. Everything is made fresh, and the little details bring every dish to the next level. My husband claims Press Cafe has one of the best burgers he has had in DFW.

Wow... this was a difficult place to rate because is it kind of between 3 and 4 stars. I recently dined at Press Cafe in Aledo on a bustling Friday evening. Based on my experience, I'd advise making a reservation if you're planning to visit during prime time. We decided to take our chances and ended up waiting about 15 minutes for a table, which wasn't too bad.The highlight of our meal was the "deconstructed" chicken pot pie, an innovative take on the traditional dish. While the concept was interesting and the flavors were good, I found the temperature of the food a bit cooler than I prefer. I like my meals hot off the grill, and this was more on the warm side, which might suit others just fine but was a slight letdown for me.For our appetizer, we chose ricotta cheese served with sourdough bread. The cheese was drizzled with what seemed like honey, and the bread was toasted with either garlic butter or garlic-infused olive oil. The generous serving of bread was a plus, although I personally would have preferred it not toasted or flavored, which would have been ideal for pairing with the mild ricotta. However, it would have been perfect if we were having bruschetta. Our service experience was reasonably good, contrasting some of the negative reviews I'd seen. It seems the staff, mostly young, might still be learning the ropes, which could explain the variance in service quality noted by others. The cafe itself has undergone a very nice makeover. The interiors are well-done, and the outdoor patio offers a fantastic space to relax and enjoy a meal. There's even a small play area for children, making it a very family-friendly venue. The bar area is also quite inviting, although I hope they keep live music to a minimum. Previous experiences with live performances in such a wide-open, acoustically challenging space suggest it can get overly loud.Overall, my visit to Press Cafe was enjoyable, and despite some minor critiques, I'm looking forward to going back. The place has a lot of potentials, especially as a spot for family outings or a casual evening out.

Quiche. Just order the quiche. It comes with a wonderful, bright kale salad. Perfect with a latte or coffee :)

Wanted to check out this new aledo location since it opened. Stopped in with my family for Brunch. The food was good but very pricy. I had the special of the day. A filet with mashed potatoes and spinach with an egg the way you like. $55 with not a sprinkle of seasoning. My husband daughter enjoyed their burgers and I had an amazing cocktail. The brunch menu is very small and not very exciting. I'll try dinner next time. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. With tip we spent $200 for the 3 of us.

We did a reservation and requested upstairs. Once checking, one of the hostess just walked away, so we asked another if we were supposed to follow. We were told yes. We started to follow and then were told we were supposed to and he was seating someone else. Very unorganized, for what? The lack of communication wasn't pleasant either. After finally being seated we got a carafe mimosa ($38) I got to brunch often and this place was by far the most expensive. The breakfast sandwich was very good!!

This place is great - menu, service, ambiance, and food. I highly recommend the crossing chicken salad, spicy rigatoni, chicken parm, and wild berry cobbler. We've been here at least four times (the latest one tonight) and gotten takeout once since they opened.
