Who knows what a trattoria is? Family owned Prespa's Italian Restaurant is a classic neighborhood trattoria with pizzas, pastas and more.The vibe is a time warp. You get your choice of a lit up room or a dark room. Everything was delicious. Service was on point. I am looking forward to going back to try their hot foot long subs.

Great little Italian restaurant in the heart of DWG .. I was playing a round of disc golf at veterans park and it's just a few minutes away so I stopped in for lunch.. It had been at least 20 years since I've been here and that was way too long !! I'll make sure to come back very soon. !! The food was hot , fresh and delicious I walked out completely satisfied and with a smile I love veal and it was very tasty with Italian sausage, pasta and peppers.,, and the sauce was spectacular!! Best calzone in town. The meat balls and Italian sausage were delicious. The shrimp was perfect. The bread was good. The chicken parm sub was not breaded and had boring flavor. That's why I don't give a 5, that parm sub could be better considering how good everything else was. The staff was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. And the cake was pretty good too.

Found Prespa's on Yelp after searching for lasagna take out. A Sunday evening take out of lasagna and an order of spaghetti w'/meat sauce. Not "tricked up" at all. Just good and hot dinners with ample portions, My spaghetti already had red sauce on the pasta then covered with meat sauce. Just like I would make it at home. We will be back!!!

I thought I had the scope on the best Italian restaurant. But let me tell you about this Jem. I found something special only a few miles from my house. The ambiance was nice. The service was excellent, everyone was so nice and made you feel like they were there for you. And the food, OMG. RARELY do I find food sitting in front of me that looks like the picture. You'all know what I mean. Well, just take a look at my pictures. The food was beautiful and delicious. The smell of the freshness, the taste of herbs/spices. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Loved everything about it. My family and I will be back. I can't wait to try another dish. And anytime I don't want to cook we will be having this. There are so many things on the menu to choose from. To you the cook and the server I salute you.

Dined in here today during lunch, and had the chicken piccata, which was absolutely outstanding! It was clear that they do indeed make their pasta in-house, and it kept me wanting more and more. Their garlic bread appetizer was great too! Can't wait to try them again in the near future.

Went during the week with a group of 6. We were seated right away.Pros: Service was great, attentive waitress. A lot of food options to choose from pizza, to calzone, to pasta dishes. A basket of rooms comes out before the meal. We chose to get some "pink sauce" which was tasty. I got the clam pasta with red sauce. No complaints here. Also they are a byob establishment. So you can bring your drink of choice to enjoy with your meal. Cons: The lighting was very dim. The light bulbs were colored and has Christmas lights hanging. Half of the group used their phone lights to read the menu.

Decided to try a pizza from our normal fav so ordered veggie pizza and salad takeout from Prespa's. Surprised to discover Prespa's charged our credit card 2 times and we are in agreement $85.17 is way too much money to pay for a takeout pizza and salad. Have called Prespa's every day asking for credit for Prespa's overcharge. Every call, hostess says the Owner is fully aware of the situation and "she will call you back tonight." Fast forward a full week, no calls back and no credit on credit card. I do not recommend paying $85.17 for Prespa's pizza.
