Simply outstanding old school burgers- with quality ingredients and made fresh to order. We were afraid that perhaps Pop's was resting on its laurels and past reviews, but no, it's NOT true. You get to have your burger just the way you like, I chose the same favorite style of the employee that took our order (which involved double patties, pepper jack cheese and avocado-sublime.)Of course I had it carnivore- ish (sans bun) so I could really taste the quality of the ground beef. Quality ground beef and cooked medium rare-- the very best way to eat it -- and ALWAYS highly prized!! This is not fast food pre-made stuff, so enjoy the ambience while you wait for made-to-order deliciousness!!!

Stopped at Pop's for lunch while visiting Waxahatchie. This place was an amazing find. Lots of atmosphere but the best part was the food. These may very well be the best burgers in Texas. For the hungry appetite, you can get a burger with 5 patties. There are options for 1 to 5 patties plus all the toppings you can imagine. The onion rings are perfect too. Fried just right served hot and crispy. Certainly worth a visit if you're n Waxahatchie.

Burgers are DELICIOUS!! My husband had a double meat cheese burger and couldn't finish it! I had a 1/4 pd with blue cheese and grilled onions. I can't recall the name of the specialty burger but it was sooooooo good! I can't wait to take the rest of the family there to try some of the other specialty burgers.

The only place I found on the square with food and boy do I regret stopping here. The cheeseburger I ordered came with no cheese and the hamburger meat was bland/flavorless. The fries also lacked any flavor. I LOVE a great burger and this was not worth the calories

Excellent Onion Rings! Really really really good food. I loved the Pop's Burger with cheese but the star of the show are those dang onion rings chased with an icy cold mug of house made root beer. Delicious! Expect a wait to get your food once you order. There are 6 outside tables on the patio with cool, funky decor inside. Make sure to stop by Monday through Saturday. Closed on Sundays.

Drove way too far. I live about 25 min away. I got lost following gps so I called but got no help. The staff were nice though. I finally found the place on my own. It is an unassuming hole in the wall, dark inside with no natural light. Not very welcoming. The food was hot and fresh but not worth the price or the time it took to get there. Portions were small child like and the food taste was basic. Wont go back.

We purposely came here with our granddaughters because of the name of the place, they call me Pop's. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed in the food and service. The burger was average and bun was soggy, I found a hair in it. My wife's salad was iceberg lettuce and looks like a bag salad. The kids mini corn dogs look like something out of a box from Sams. We ordered our food at 1:35pm and it was served at 2:40pm OVER 1 HOUR to get it. The grandkids (2&4) we being really good but the wait was really testing their patience as with our too!
