Pop Pop Burgers

Stopped in around lunchtime to see what all the buzz is about!Pop pop's is a burger and sandwich place just east of Midway road outside of Azle. There is plenty of parking here and if you decide you don't want a sandwich, you can get some Tex-Mex food from the little Taqueria right next-door. But wait there's more! There's a dessert bus, too.There are probably eight or so tables inside the little building. The waitstaff were very friendly and attentive.I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with onion rings. I thought it tasted pretty good, but I think there might've been a little bit too much mayonnaise on the sandwich.All in all, this is a pretty good place to eat!

Driving through town on the way home from a hiking weekend. This is a clean, small town diner with a very nice and helpful lady taking orders. Nice selection of burgers and they were decent. Definitely a MAGA thing going on here with their slogan, not a fan of that. Wouldn't have stopped here had I known about that.

Good burgers, fries, and onion rings here. This is a cute, diner-style place with lots of parking. I posted the paper menu, but there is also a snowcone menu on a wall inside - I will wait until the temps start hitting in the 100's for that :-DThe ground beef used is good quality. My fries were OK, but the onion rings were fantastic. I experienced friendly service here and won't hestiate to try them again. The menus on the walls inside are pretty extensive. This was my first time here, so I just got a regular burger with all the toppings. There aren't a lot of tables inside, but I noticed a lot of folks coming in and out for to-go orders. If you're ever out in this neck of the woods, they are definitely worth trying.

While out thrifting and antiquing, we ran across this little roadside burger joint. Pop pop burgers is a little building off the side of the road with plenty of parking. Walking into a diner style restaurant and up to the boat-converted-to-counter to order off a well displayed menu with lots of choices. The staff couldn't have been more friendly. The restaurant was clean and tables were wiped down immediately as people left. Food came out very quickly and everything was absolutely delicious! Those tots were so hot, crispy and perfect! This little place was so good, that if I'm craving a burger and I'm anywhere near Azle, this will be my go to!

Pop pop was having a bad day today Ive eaten there 4or5 times today never had a problem not sure what went wrong

The burger was wonderfully made and tasty. Had a great ratio of meat so you don't feel like you're just eating bread. The fries were just what I needed after I finished work. The service was wonderful, friendly, and kind. A man from the back made sure to come out and check on us, plus the lady that was working up from was all smiles and even came and picked up my trash. The decor of the building was cool and gave the place a nice vibe!

My hubby and I decided to try this cute little food court. The Pop Pop burgers are made with quality meat and the service was exceptional. After we had our lunch, we went next door to the Desert bus, yes I said bus. It was so cute inside and out. We stepped into the bus and ordered watermelon and mango sorbet...it was the bomb. The owners were friendly and let us taste the ice creams before we ordered. I also ordered the mexican corn snack that is like the mexican corn on the cob but cut off the cob and put in a bowl. I took it home. It is awesome. I highly recommend this little food court. You will not be disappointed. They also have a breakfast truck from 5am to 2pm. Not sure of the days that they are open but you will have to give it a try. We went on a Wednesday about 2pm.

Outstanding burgers and fries. Philly cheese steak was very good with onions rings and good tea!

We tried the Pop Pop Wild burger and the Habanero burger. Both were great and we got the funnel fries, our only complaint was that we wanted more lol they are amazing! Will absolutely be back!

Great food EVERY time! I would like to try everything on the menu, but I crave the crunch burger.
