Had Happy Hour tonight at the Fort Worth location - oysters, cocktails, ceviche, and more oysters. Everything was really good and the restaurant wasn't too busy due to the Stock Show drawing business I'm guessing. Our server LuLu was absolutely spot on. A combination of sweet youth, eager helpfulness, and absolute attentiveness. She's a winner and we'll be back!

Whatsamatter with me? Why has it taken us so long to get to Plank? Head slap. We did not delve today that deeply into the very nicely curated seafood menu that Plank boasts, but what we enjoyed proved exceptionally good. We went with a bottle of the Guinigi Pinot Grigio. It proved to be a very nice pairing for the seafood. It had been decided in advance that we would try Plank's Redfish Ceviche appetizer... perfectly marinated redfish, leche de tigre, avocado, red onion, and black garlic. After we had ordered it we saw the Chilled Seafood Platter offering which includes shrimp cocktail, 6 oysters and this ceviche. We asked our server Caity if the portion of ceviche on the platter is the same as the appetizer, if so could we do the platter. It is and we did. Hence the ceviche which would have rested in the center of the platter is missing in my pic, as it ended up arriving first since it had already been prepared for the table This is a wonderfully unique ceviche preparation. Actually, it rolled our socks up and down. It is absolutely spectacular. Next visit we'll be ordering a serving each! The large shrimp on the platter were perfectly cooked and the East Coast oysters were lovely. Plank's mignonette is quite pleasant and their cocktail sauce is outstanding. Especially if you're a horseradish fan. This sauce is horseradish forward and this horseradish is on fire! So good. The other eye dropper bottle on the platter beside the mignonette contains Crystal hot sauce. Crystal!! We have never seen Crystal in a restaurant away from the north Gulf (of America : ) coast before. Our fave. What a special treat to find it here. For an entree we decided to share the bacon wrapped shrimp. This consists of four large grilled, bacon wrapped shrimp stuffed with jalapeño and aged white cheddar atop Plank's savory dirty rice with green beans and tomato, and topped with a chive-horseradish remoulade that compliments the grilled shrimp perfectly. And get this, the kitchen split the plates! We didn't even request that and there was no split plate charge. Class act. We each, being old-timers, took half of our half dish of grilled shrimp home for another meal. Our server, Caity, was not only very cordial but also perfectly attentive and thoroughly knowledgeable about each dish and its preparation. Impressive. I also discovered today when I pulled the take home containers from the fridge that Caity had labeled them "His" and "Hers". LOL. Nice. I've posted a video to share with you Plank's attractive interior and open kitchen.

We came to celebrate a birthday lunch with a small group. Dined in the dining room in a comfy booth with plenty of space to have a great conversation. We opt'ed for appetizers and wine. We tried a little of everything from the starters. Oysters were delicious! Would pair well with a martini!!!Our server was excellent, attentive and even brought over a birthday card. Can't wait to return!

Food: Amazing, I really thought everything was good and it has the right amount. It's not overwhelming or underwhelming. It's just right. Oysters were fresh and they have happy hour on certain oysters u can get for $1 a piece. Sushi was delicious and their appetizers are great! My espresso martini was made right and strong! Service: our waitress was super attentive and took really good care of us. Ambience: place speaks for itself. It's really pretty and beautiful! Lighting is amazing! The decor is super well thought out! They have bar seating booths, and tables! Lighting in there is great! Lots of room for photo ops which is a plus on my end! Haha. I'll be back!

$1 oysters during Happy Hour! What else do I need to say? ! Their mignotte sauce isn't my favorite, but still, you can't beat that price. The restaurant is beautiful, the service is great. I'll definitely be back.

When I walked into this restaurant I was super excited by the amount of people that were in there. It seems like a good thing to see when you're so hungry. As I waited for my friends to arrive, it took a while for the waitress to say anything to me but I know she was busy and I'm assuming short staff. I didn't have anywhere to be so it didn't bother me at first. Once my friends arrived, I went ahead and ordered a Cesar salad and a sushi roll. It took so long for my salad to come out and everyone else's drinks as well. At this point we were all very hungry, but good conversation kept us occupied. (It was a Saturday night, it must have been their busy night)I may try this place with my boyfriend one day but it doesn't really stick out to me a lot.

Nice atmosphere, but we chose to sit at the bar, there were a good amount of guests in the space, but it wasn't crowded. The service was sufficient, but with the understanding that sitting at a bar top during happy hour can be hit or miss. I did enjoy my old fashioned. The "risotto's" flavor was good, but it didn't really give risotto, and I felt the salmon was a bit overcooked I could take blame for that as I didn't specify how I would like it cooked. Otherwise it was a good experience, I'd return for a different dish or cocktails

First time trying Plank after being to this shopping area several times. Overall the experience was good. Our server was very good and the food was overall good. The soup we ordered was spicy and overall excellent and the red fish was good. Overall not amazing but not bad, I'd visit again if wanting seafood.

08/30/24 Friday 8:00. Restaurant Week continues. The vibe is very nautical think a New England restaurant overlooking the pier but in this case the street. Tastefully decorated and transports me away from this Texas heat. We are seated promptly and give the designated menu. 3 courses and dessert. I start with the crab dip and I will say this something do not need to be elevated. The dip is a bit too salty and the crab is overpowered by the cheese and aioli. The sourdough crostini is marvelous. The Caesar salad is up next. How wonderful that the chill the salad bowls, definitely makes the salad next level and so fresh! The dressing itself is almost a vinaigrette Cesar. A pleasant surprise for a Cesar salad!!Entree up the grilled bacon wrapped shrimp was huge. With an amazing dirty rice. Green beans and tomatoes perfectly cooked. Desert. Well it was a joke, bread pudding not!! A slice of bread with some sauce or something toasted so that the sugar was burned. Horrible!! I mean so disappointing. I would rather they just not included dessert than serve this joke of a dessert! A terrible way to end an otherwise beautiful meal. Talk about leaving a horrible taste in my mouth, literally and figuratively!
