Piranha Killer Ramen

Stopped on a Saturday around 4. I'd never been here and had no idea they had a great happy hour special. There was a small wait since apparently this is a spot for happy hour, especially on a Saturday. We decided to order a bunch of appetizers and it didn't fail. We loved pretty much everything we ordered. Our favorites were the sushi rolls on their happy hour, the bang bang shrimp and the ribs.Will definately be returning and recommend it. It has a very chill vibe

We came around lunch time and there was a 20-25 minute wait. We asked to be seated at the sushi bar but were told there was still a wait. There wasn't anyone seated at the sushi bar. Upon being seated, we placed our order. We received our appetizer. I asked the server about our drinks, water & sprite. Yes, I get that it's busy, but your drinks should come before appetizers. The gyoza's sauce was yummy! It packed a kick, nothing too spicy. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen . The ramen noodles were perfectly cooked; the marinated egg was also perfectly cooked, and it was well seasoned; the shoyu was very tender. Would I say this is the best ramen? No! The broth could have been better. Maybe more rich! (I eat a lot of ramen!) The sushi was mediocre. Wasn't too fresh. Good enough.

Came with a friend to enjoy sushi and ramen. Upon arrival, it was quite busy so we sat at the bar. We received great customer service for our waitress! For happy hour we ordered - karaage, gyoza, spicy tuna roll, and shrimp tempura roll - killer geisha (mango) for drink and spice mule. The karaage was fresh and tasty and we enjoyed the gyoza as well. The sushi was ok - the rolls were falling apart and it made for messy eating. For ramen, we ordered the chicken ramen and added additional toppings on both with a side of spice. I really enjoyed my ramen as the noodles were cooked how I enjoy - firm - and the broth was flavorful. The spice added just the right amount of kick to it! Overall, we enjoyed the food and I look forward to returning!

I will forever LOVE piranha!! The food is good, and the happy hour deals are fantastic. They have happy hour every day from 3-7 which is a steal! The staff is always amazing, and I love the vibes that the place gives off. You can even ask my friends, everytime we plan to hang out I always mention piranha cause their happy hour is probably the best in the area! I will DEFINITELY be back AGAIN

Ambiance gives a moody, intimate vibe when you walk in. There's some beautiful murals painted around the walls to admire & Asian style seating tables towards the front that are cool. I like that this place will sit multiple parties at one table as well, encouraging you to socialize with people you normally might not.There were three of us who came during their happy hour (served 3-7pm during the week). We ordered quite a few appetizers as you'll see pictured below. I highly recommend their bang bang shrimp & the gyozas. The shrimp were bigger than expected for an appetizer, perfectly breaded & had nice flavor without being overwhelmingly spicy. The gyozas also were great, balancing the umami flavors with the saltiness of the sauce it comes with. My least favorite appetizer was the calamari. When it came out at first I thought they were onion rings. Entirely too much breading in my opinion.For entrees we all got different variations of ramen, from chicken to tonkatsu to shoyu. Though the ramen wasn't on happy hour their portion size was, which is appreciated because the appetizers are very filling so it helps to decrease waste. I've been all around DFW trying different Tonkatsu ramen, so knowing that I think theirs is just ok. If you're looking to pig out for pennies then this is the place to be. Expect a 20 min wait for happy hour if you're not on the wait list, but service is fast & smooth once seated.

Piranha's has delicious sushi and great lunch hour for some of my favorite rolls. The service was great so we really enjoyed our dinner. It was steadily busy while we were here. The dumpling appetizers were great as well.I look forward to having another meal at this Piranha's.

When I first moved to arlington about nine years ago I would come to this sushi place at least once a month or so. Before they remodeled it and even after. I liked it before it felt more homely. Now it looks updated, but slightly for a younger crowd. They ONLY carried spicy miso soup, which i've never heard anywhere. The sushi was okay. The service was neutral. Stopped in for a bite before going to a comedy club Next door. may or may not return. The appetizer was really good almost ordered another because they took way too long on our food that wasn't all that and fell apart easily.

This Japanese ramen spot is hands down one of our favorite places to dine! My son and I always look forward to our visits here, and it's become a special go-to for us. We also love the takoyaki, which has that perfect balance of a crispy exterior and a warm, tender center that's simply mouthwatering. And the sushi? They offer creative and well-crafted drinks that pair perfectly with their dishes. If you're looking for a place that offers fantastic Japanese food, great prices, and a welcoming vibe, this is definitely it!

This place is in the weeds. They're constantly on a wait for a half empty restaurant. Small parties of one or two frequently have to wait some ridiculous amount of time for a seat at the bar when the bar is half empty and the seats have been empty for ages. This is a great place to come if you want to waste your meal time waiting for a seat that's been open since you got there.Until they learn to properly staff and manage this restaurant, it's a waste of time, a huge frustration, and a great way to make sure you end up hungry. The reason there's a line out the door so often isn't because it's full. It's because it's half empty, and management doesn't know how to manage. A bartender at a nearby restaurant (after I gave up and went someplace else) even confirmed that a good chunk of their business comes from people who got sick of waiting for Piranha to get their sh!t together, walked out, and went someplace else.

Piranha Sushi and Piranha Killer Ramen are both excellent options for tasty Japanese cuisine in a casual and fun atmosphere.
