Phat Matt's Hot Wings

I've been coming to Phat Matt's place since I was a kid. Best fish in Dallas (Catfish not Swai). The service is always the same, quick & fresh.. it's not the fanciest place but definitely a hidden gem. Everything is good. (I always ask for my bread toasted)

Okay, the fries are not good. Soggy and not season-well. But the chicken! The chicken is delicious. I rate on service and the counter was fast, friendly, and efficient. Let me go back to the chicken!! Get you some!

You should try it you won't regret it! It's delicious the crack wings hand down is the best flavor! First time coming my husband ordered the mushroom burger and fish basket n my daughter and I ordered wings. We all agree the crack wings was bomb. The two ladies there are so nice thank yall for working on getting our food to us. We appreciate a good hole in the wall, the ambiance was festive loved the beads and decor!

I don't usually review places I try, but this one deserves it all! Small place wasn't crowded as it's more take out service than dine in. I asked Joe what he recommended, "All of it! It's all good, because I'm the one that makes it....!" Told him that didn't really help me so he recommended fish or shrimp sandwich on Texas toast... SOLD! Fried catfish on buttered Texas toast?? Say less... added fries and a drink, and don't forget the house special sauce. Standard sodas in the machine, then I glanced at the drink cooler and saw they have Kool Aid on tap! Best sandwich I've had. They've been there 20 years and it shows. Be sure and give them a try. Ask for Joe!

If you're looking for the best wings in town, you found it. This is an amazing wing spot. This quaint little shop provided me with some of best wings I have ever had.They cook to order, so you know the food will be fresh as soon as it gets to you. The guy that took my order was super kind and was able to facilitate my order while dealing with a large to-go order.If you're looking for a fantastic wing spot, this is the place to go. (Highly recommend those lemon pepper wings.)If there was any cons, I would personally request them to blanch fries. Seems like this area in general doesn't do this practice which is why I won't deduct a star... and because these wings significantly make up for that!

The crack wings and spicy lemon pepper are amazing, fries extra seasoned, and the kool aid bayyybaaaay yesssss!! The ladies that work at the phat Matt's I go to are the best always nice always smiling and always helpful!!

Nothing PHAT about it. Received the smallest, most dried out wings & flats ever in my life. Dude did us dirty. Hard to justify a return visit. Hopefully others have better luck here.

Picked up some hot wings for a quick picnic at the park nearby and was not disappointed! These wings were a breath of fresh air compared to your average wing places around (Wingstop, Buffalo, ANY pizza place). They were saucy, tangy and spicy enough to wake your sinuses. We were given great service and did not have to wait long to get our meal considering we just walked in and ordered. Next time I'm in the mood for wings, this is where I'm going.

food is always a 10/10 whenever i go! wings crisply and flavorful, affordable and great customer service

I got a catfish nugget basket and it was not how I remember from a few years ago. I'm beyond disappointed. They gave me these cheap fish nuggets and fried them extra hard to where it was nothing but crisp on the inside. It was nothing but grease and was not edible. A waste my time and money driving all the way from Plano. I will NEVER eat here again.
