Persimmons Bar and Grill

I know... it's part of a golf course. But if you can set that aside you will find this to be a really beautiful restaurant and bar. Good atmosphere and view. Wonderful outdoor seating overlooking the course. Food is above average and we really liked the place.

Decor Decor Decor! A designers dream from top to bottom. It's beautiful inside and out here so the ambiance is gorgeous too. It's laid back and notnatuffy but very much a modern turn on favorites. My faves are the Ahi Tuna nachos, Any of the burgers and home fries, and the drinks are refreshing and inventive. Love this place for a sit outside on a patio and some fusion American food offerings. One of our favorite places.

Nice restaurant. Very nicely laid out and the menu was good. I met up with some friends here that were from out of town. They picked the place based on a google search for bar and grill hahaah. They didn't know it was on a golf course. The food was great. I got the steak and it was very nicely made and I was happy with the meal. My friends liked their cocktails and the view of the golf course was nice.

It's a golf course restaurant so I was hesitant to visit. The staff was very nice but we stood out like sore thumbs. The specialty drinks were tasty. I ordered the pesto veggie pasta, the veggies were mushy and it was very greasy. Overall it was a cute place.

Pretty good food for a club house. Got the smash burger and the chef salad and both were average but better than expected.

Man I wanted to like this place for a casual evening with good for and drinks. We went this past Sunday for Brunch and it was just bad. Service was bad, food was bad the vibe was one of frantic desperation. It's a great place on a fall or spring evening to have drinks but understand the severe is weak and the food is below average.

TO. DIE. FOR. BURGER. I am a self proclaimed burger junkie and the smash burger was BY FAR one of the best burgers I have EVER had. Waitress said it was one of their most popular items and I can see why. Not to mention it was priced at $9.00 instead of the normal $15 (that I would have HAPPILY paid for) to help get the word out. The fries were meh. Not a super big fan of crunchy skinny fries and the taste was a little off for me personally so I shared my son's fried okra which was really good. The view was nice as well over looking the golf course.

This place was nice. The menus was not extravagant (don't expect anything gourmet) but they had a wide selection. I especially enjoyed the charcuterie board ( enough to feed 3). The staff was very friendly, and a nice atmosphere. I recommend this place.

Went there for brunch and although the prices were great, I can't say that for the food. Maybe it was an off day, as this place was chosen simply for its previous reviews. Nevertheless, we were the only ones there and it took over 40 minutes to get the chicken and waffles and shrimp and grits food items. The chicken was over cooked and had a slight burnt taste. We discovered from the sweet waitress that it took so long due to the waffle maker not working properly. What?! Ok, on the the shrimp and grits, I ended up asking for butter and sugar for them as they had no flavor. Eventually sent them back and just got oatmeal. I mean, you can't go wrong with that, right?! Well we ended up leaving and unfortunately won't return, but hey it's on a golf course and the atmosphere was amazing so 2 stars for that alone.
