OMG what an amazing sandwich. I will have to admit that when I was placing my order I was a little price shocked however all of those worries went away when I took my first bite that was hands down one of the best sandwiches I have ever had.Complexity and layering of flavors that chef brought to this dish were crazy. I had the Philly pastrami and you could appreciate the long slow cook as well as the quick sear they took it up a notch perfect cook on the peppers and some type of amazing french dip action on the bread was spot on. I definitely specifically recommend this place however there seems like a whole lot of other great restaurants at Fort Worth works that I plan on coming back to. Keep up that concept kitchen.

I was never a fan of Pastrami until I moved to Pasadena, California, for a few years in the late 90's. There, I discovered The Hat - famous for their pastrami dip sandwiches. When I moved back home to Texas, it was one of the foods I truly missed from out there. So when I saw that there was a "ghost kitchen" (Fort Worth Food Works) delivering California style pastrami sandwiches, I jumped at it, hoping it would give me even a little bit of the taste I love. Pastrami Pit more than delivered. It's like they picked one of the crews from The Hat and plopped them down in Fort Worth. Lucky me! They are quick and efficient, with delivery or pick-up only. No seating, but just look for the "Food Pickup" sign.Do me a favor. I can't order pastrami sandwiches daily, so y'all need to help me keep them in business. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

This was a little hard to find and it's not a sit down place to eat. It's takeout and the set up is a tablet ordering system and a single window for pickup orders. Must note there are 9 different businesses using the same location which I thought is a cool concept with many different choices of food to choose from. The pastrami pit has the paper thin pastrami that's so good. Melts in your mouth and tasted wonderful. We tried several items from the colossal burger, frisco burger and the pastrami dip! We also tried the onion rings, french fries and fried zucchini with homemade ranch which was awesome Everything was served quickly and tasted good! Really enjoyed the zucchini and onion rings and the pastrami sandwich. The burgers were good the meat was thick and juicy and veggies were fresh however the star of the show was the pastrami! Would definitely recommend the pastrami dip! They also gave us some yellow chili with our meal which was perfect for the pastrami Overall we all agreed that this would definitely be a repeat place to eat and it also would be interesting to check out all of the options of the restaurants shared with the pastrami pitAlso noted they were extremely busy and had a good flow of customers coming and picking up orders for door dash and others So going to post a pic of the door and stuff as we almost missed it Check them out you won't be disappointed

I grew up in California and we would go to a place called The Hat. I had some high hopes for this place. It fell a little short. I think it was the quality of the pastrami. They have some great ratings but having tried Katz deli in the NYC and The Hat they are not quite there. We tried the zucchini fries and the chili cheese fries. Both were good. So that is a plus. The amount of pastrami was generous which was another plus. Served with small yellow peppers which is a classic way to eat them and the bread was fresh. Just came down to the somewhat chewy pastrami. I will try them again it might have been an off night. Another thing to consider is while you place your own order at a kiosk and they don't really wait on you they should consider allowing for a custom tip. Options were 15/20/25 or zero. I always tip. Just nice to have options. The three items I got totaled over $40.00 so price point a little much for a self help place your own order.

I ordered the BLT and tater tots and I HIGHLY recommend. Service was quick and the location is a hidden gym. It's actually tucked away in a ghost kitchen near 7th Street in Fort Worth! It's small but they have it set up so that you can notify the business that you are there for pickup. Convenient and easy!!

So good! The picadillo tacos were amazing! The chili cheese hot dog was the best I've ever had! The pastrami dip was piled high & flavorful. Even better when we added some Swiss cheese to it. Yes I am a cheeseaholic :)Will definitely put this on our rotation! Also the pictures really helped us figure out which building & what door to use
