Panaderia Celaya

This is the best Panaderia for pan dulce. The bread is always fresh and delicious. They have a nice selection of different types of sweet bread and cookies. My favorite is the marranitos and the buñuelos. Yes buñuelos! Ive never gotten them like this from any other panadería or store. They taste just like my grandmas! The marranitos are always soft and so are the conchas. Their cortadillo is so good!! We've tried just about everything and it's all good. There's other little shops but this place is really good and the prices are decent. Small hole in the wall but those are the best! So let's get to the service. It's very hit or miss. We've been going for a while and so far only one of the lady's is super sweet, helpful, and takes the initiative to pack your sweet bread right. Everyone else just throws the pan dulce in the bag. By the time you get home everything at the bottom is in pieces. I've said this before and I'll say it again. I think it's the new norm. A lot of people are not customer service oriented and act like they just don't want to work. They're not mean, but also let you know they don't want to be bothered. The quality of the product makes up for it. In other words it's worth the money. ;) They also have hot food but we've never tried it. We always go across the street to La Milpa for food and then to them for our sweet fix. I'm sure the food is good judging by the pan dulce!

If you're looking for really great Mexican pastries and happen to be near Grand Prairie, then be sure to stop by Panaderia Celaya. They have an extensive selection of pan dulce (Mexican sweetbread), and hav some of the best pumpkin empanadas I've ever tasted! They were soft, had plenty of filling and just melted in your mouth! I've scoured the DFW metroplex in search of the best empanadas and I can say unequivocally, this place ranks as one of the top 3 in my list. They also have tamales (pork & chicken) on Saturday's & Sunday's but you got to get there early before they sell out. We were there around 9:00 a.m, on a Sunday and they were already sold out.

I love this place, the pan always taste like it's fresh. I wish it was closer to me so we could go more often. The fact that it's far and we still go should let you know how much we like it! The service is always friendly, haven't had a bad experience yet!

This is the place to come for bread! Break the diet come treat yourself to warm, fluffy, delicious bread. I have a bite and my eyes close automatically and my mouth waters. They need an award! Are you having a bad day? Come get you a bread with a coke! Are you having a fantastic day? Well top it with bread and a coke. Service is fast and employees are always polite

This place has some of the best sweet breads in the area. Next time I go (this weekend) I am going to take some photos. Seriously good! They have tamales on Sundays and my kids really enjoy going to pick out their own breads.

First time coming to a Panaderia and I must say this place is delicious. We got a few conchas, churros, donuts and some assortment of other goodies. The conchas were the best conchas I've ever had! They were soft and pillowy. The churros were to die for! Donuts were soft with the perfect amount of glaze. Not only is everything here delicious, everything is super affordable. For $10 we got a large bag of goodies. The two ladies checking us were super nice. $5 Minimum for card for remember to bring cash :)!

I had such a huge craving for pan dulce and was so glad to find a place open. It was in the evening and the bread was still fresh. Lots of people coming by. Will be going by again.

My family and I have been coming here for a few years now and we love it! Everything is always fresh and delicious! They have wonderful pan dulce and tres leches cakes that are amazing!!!
