Panaderia Ahualulco

I found this place on yelp at the last minute. We arrive an hour before closing and they were helpful. They didn't really understand english and I do not speak spanish but all I wanted was the Concha sweet bread and they had it! The prices are low and the bread was delicious. We also tried the pineapple and queso turnovers and everything was great. I could not believe how BIG the breads were. I picked up an assortment of 8 different items and my total was about $9. If only we could get these kinds of prices in Hawaii.

I love this panadería. The bread is always fresh and delicious. I recently went for pan de muerto for día de muertos and was very satisfied with my purchase. The bread is big - see pictures for reference - fluffy, delicious, and affordable for the price. I believe the pan de muerto $5. Other items I enjoy are of course, the conchas, their flan, and their rice pudding. Service is always friendly as well and there's plenty of parking on the lot.

Bread is delish, don't get me wrong, BUT customer service especially when it comes to ordering cakes has really gone downhill. Very disorganized and some girls have no clue what they're doing.

this place such a great assortment of sweet bread. similar as San Antonio only bigger pieces. we tried the empanada and they were great. also purchased a dozen cookie and they were humongous for our Neighborhood night out. definitely returning

I am highly impressed with they way they are handling the corona virus situation! I have called several sweet bread places and they all seem to be operating as normal (customers can self serve themselves bread). Not this place! Outside you will see a line, people are spaced 6 feet apart! This is bc they are only allowing one person at a time in the store. The door handle has hand sanitizer taped to it, and inside the worker gets your bread for you! They are doing an awesome job at helping to prevent the spread of Corona! Not to mention, their sweet bread is one of the best around! The only sad thing was they were out of my pig cookies today! They are always soft, fresh, and yummy! Regardless, all their sweet bread is just great!

I am sure this place has great sweets based on the reviews, however, it has the smallest space for customers to stand at the counter that I have ever seen. It only fits maybe 6 people inside with not much elbow space. Kind of bizarre in a way. Not good if somebody inside is sick. Had to leave. Will come back at a time when it is not so busy.

Bread and cake are delicious!They do have a system of numbers instead of names of breads since we hispanics have different names for our bread depending on country that we are coming from. I really like that staff is the only allowed to serve bread. We have never order a cake with picture, just regular happy birthday letter written on cake, but they still need to work on that section since it took about 20min for them to find out about our cake order when we went to pick it up.

I went this morning at 7am thinking I was going to get freshly baked bread since I was there when they opened and to my surprise the bread was hard!! And I got 2 different kinds of bread and it was the same way!! Do not recommend

The bread is very good but the customer service is very bad on the part of certain girls who attend in a bad way and even a certain type of mockery towards some people I think they should attend better because they must give better customer service

Soy cliente fijo de esta panaderia sus conchas muy suaves y su pan muy divino muy buena atención de parte de las chicas muy amables me prestaran un buen servicio siempre si no sabes de algún pan ellas te dicen de que esta hecho lastimosamente solía dejarles sus tip pero un amigo cliente me dijo que ellas no disfrutaban de eso que triste porque la verdad brindan un buen servicio una recomendación mucho cuidado con las moscas y enfoquense en el área de el higiene ya que es un lugar muy visitado cuiden a sus clientes
