My Gyro was delicious. The service was good.... They brought me my meal. The atmosphere is laid back. The only disappointment was their WiFi. Also, I reported the tea dispensers had bad water flavor (I used them all so I couldn't distinguish which it was). All was delightful at my visit today a Palio's.

I've only been to Palio's twice in Azle. The ordering process is a little awkward. You order at the counter, then are seated and served. They have menus so I'm not sure why they don't just take your order at the table. Either way it's fine, but it would be a little nicer experience for them to come to the table and take your order.We stopped in for lunch on a weekday in the little shopping center where Palio's is located. The girl at the counter was really nice and explained how things work and told us to just take our time and let her know when we were ready to order. We order our food and paid and then sat down. It wasn't very long until we got our drinks. Shortly after that our food was ready. My meal came with a small Greek salad complete with sun-dried tomatoes! Very tasty! I ordered a Gyro with chips and I really enjoyed it. We ordered a meatball sub to go later when we ate it we were surprised how good it was.

Neighborhood pizza spot that offers a massive amount of options, any kind of sauce you want, gluten free offerings, and the restaurant is BYOB. Now onto the bad... It ran us just shy of $60 for 2 pies, one of them had to be gluten free so I understand that naturally it's going to be more expensive. The price is just not justifiable at all for conveyor belt pizza. The gluten free pizza was just sad really. It was pizza mush and was completely soggy. We took it to go 8 minutes down the road back to the house and even put it in the oven for a little bit when we got back, so the drive home was not the culprit. I think the folks there are really nice and very friendly, but the food, for the price especially, just does not deliver the way you would expect...

First time at Palio's in Azle. We had the cauliflower pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. The pepperoni was crispy but not too spicy and crust was one of the best I've had. Staff is pleasant and the food is hot. Definitely will be back when we are in the area.
