Met a friend here for brunch on a Sunday morning. I was happy that we were able to get a table for two right away. The service wasn't the greatest. Our server forgot to bring my friend's coffee cup and took a very long time to flag down to get it corrected or our bill, but we both ordered the salmon lox plate which was pretty tasty. They leave a pot of coffee at your table so you don't have to wait for refills. I'd go back to try it again the next time I'm in the downtown Dallas area.

Here's the updated review:I recently visited Overeasy and was disappointed with the lack of accommodation from the host, Vince. Upon arriving, I politely requested a booth for my guest and me. Instead of checking availability or offering an alternative, Vince simply responded with a curt "no."I understand if booths weren't available, but the dismissive tone and lack of effort to assist left a poor impression. Good customer service is essential to a positive dining experience, and unfortunately, this interaction fell short. I hope Vince and the staff at Overeasy receive training on how to handle such situations more thoughtfully in the future.Otherwise the food was good and service promp

Stayed at the Statler Hotel in Dallas, TX and had to try the onsite restaurant Overeasy, an all-day breakfast. I ordered the chilaquiles with beans and egg, and it was a good pick me up. I love breakfast all day. The ambiance of Overeasy is charming and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed breakfast or brunch. The service was friendly but slow.

Bla....disappointing at bestFirst "stuffed French toast" is bullshit. More like bricks of fried bread with a tenth of an ounce of cream put at the tip. Should be called "just the tip toast" because that is all you are getting. So disappointing. The lemon ricotta pancakes were good but they looked like someone blew a lemon curd load on them.

Good food. Service was a little slow. They provide chicken and pork sausage options. The pork sausage is delicious. But if you love lemon ricotta pancakes, get them here! The lemon curd and blueberry compote is perfection! I went on Mother's Day, but super cute ambiance inside of a beautiful hotel.

Wasn't crowded, got seated right away.. Friendly staff.. I ordered the breakfast sandwich which was sausage, egg and cheese on a croissant . The sandwich was super huge!! The yogurt parfait was really good, I enjoyed it with a lot of honey on top gave it a nice touch.. Good experience and good breakfast spot.. Nice ambience, really chilled and not hectic.

I think Overeasy is a good place to have breakfast. Nestled in the middle of Downtown Dallas, it's overly easy "no pun intended" to pop inside for a quick bite. I usually park across the street at the park. The food is good and if you're coming in to do some work I think it's a great place for that as well. I went for a straightforward eggs, sausage and potatoes, with toast to kick off my morning and it was plentifully enough to get me going. Just a note, that the sausage is patty style compared to link style at other places so just remember that if that's a dealbreaker for you. I personally am a fan of both.
