Stopped on our way to Austin and the tacos were delicious! Had shrimp, tinga chicken and beef. Had not planned on getting but rice and beans that came with were yummy and at it all! Cocktails were solid, looked like a full bar. I had a house margarita which came with salt rim and flower garnish which was a nice touch. Also got a free shot for spending over $60, starburst was just the right amount of sweet. I wasn't driving so I got to enjoy! Service was super friendly. Ambiance was dark from outside but bright inside.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Omar's Tacos & Bar.We ordered the barbacoa tacos and the Tinga Chicken Tostadas. Both were really good. They both came with rice and the tacos came with beans as well. The green salsa that was brought out complimentary with the chips and red salsa, was delicious. I think i had like 3 of those small cups throughout dinner. Service was great. We ordered and received our drinks in a timely manner. Other staff members came by and checked on us throughout the evening as well. There was a loud crowd at the bar, which made for good people watching!There is outdoor seating as well that, no one was sitting at of course...because texas summer!Oh i also enjoyed a guava house margarita. Really yummy!!

Had the Taco plate with birria and shrimp tacos! Everything was delicious! From the drinks, salsa, and entree!!! Will definitely be coming back to this place next time we have a baseball tournament in Waxahachie!!

Omar is an amazing host/owner/bartender we went on a difficult night he was packed and shorthanded. The service was amazing. The drinks were very very good and on point as usual. He also made wife's night they serve Carne Guisada ( South Texas Staple) it was amazingly close to what we were used to.The taco I had were barbacoa, carne guisada and lengua. The food was awesome. The look of the restaurant had a really cool vibe, cool colors and comfortable seating. We be supporting this local business. Omar has to be one of the nicest guys, we will be supporting him from now on.

Been here twice now, and my family and I all really enjoyed it! I highly recommend the cucumber jalapeño margarita if you like a combination of spicy and refreshing. Also recommend the wings! They were surprisingly really good. Chicken tinga tostadas was also a top favorite, as well as their rice and beans. Not pictured is the caldo that we took home and our nachos as an appetizer. On Friday night they did have a DJ, which I appreciated because it made the atmosphere so much better! Very much needed restaurant in the Waxahachie area.

Decided to drop in here on a whim for a late lunch which just happened to be during their opening week. We didn't have a wait and the restaurant was pretty packed. They offer two entrances due to their being parking in both the front and back of the restaurant. The two entrance idea is great to save customers time walking around the building (first world problems). The drinks are nice and strong here too. I had a beerita and surprisingly felt it after just one, don't call me a a lightweight cause I'll deny it. The birria tacos looked different from what I've seen before but all the flavor and more was there. I will definitely be coming back here to try more drinks and food. Nice addition to waxahachie restaurant choices

Just left there. Taco Tuesday cost 28.60 for the Tuesday special and Happy hr tall beet. No bigger than street Taco's. Cant go back there after this experience. My 1st and only. Good luck save your$$ go else where.

I had the migas. Never had meat in migas before. I thought the bacon would be on the side and I don't eat pork. I ordered the bacon for my hubby. I picked the bacon out. Delicious! Eggs with Barbacoa and potatoes and beans was the next order. Very good. We had a fajita omelette that had ham in it very strange. Delicious. Hueves ranchero usually comes with over easy eggs and these were scrambled eggs also delicious. Even with the oddities, I would order from them again. I would have rated a five but my coffee was cold and there were chunks floating in the coffee. We will definitely try it again.
