This review is long overdue from when we came for the second time on New Year's Eve to try their dinner service. Boy was it a great evening of feasting and indulgence!Had just about everything that we didn't get to have for lunch service and everything was as to be expected. Great potions and fresh sashimis! Tasty hibachi and we had versions with scallops, salmon, steak and chicken! We'll keep coming back for more guaranteed! This is our sushi spot for as long as the quality, service and affordability continues!

Very very good. We were recommended this place by a friend and we all agreed it was amazing. We loved the Volcano Roll, Haru Maki, hibachi and the spicy edamame. Definitely a spot you don't want to miss in Arlington.

First time at Okinawa Asian Cuisine....delicious!! We arrived at noon on a Sunday. We were greeted upon entering and were seated immediately. The restaurant is very nice, modern but muted with background music. That is not overpowering. We ordered several apps - all were very fresh and tasty. The calamari was fresh and crispy, very-well cooked. We liked the spider roll and the sashimi choices. We tried quite a few on the menu...liked it all!We will be back!

FINALLY AN AYCE SUSHI SPOT IN SOUTH ARLINGTON!!! Dined here on a Friday evening. They just opened less than a month ago so we understood that and gave them grace for it. The hot food like the hibachi, noodles, shumai, were great, but the sushi is what you want to come here for! The sushi rolls were fun and tasty and the sashimi tasted fresh. Weekday lunch is about $20/person and Dinner/Weekends are $30/person.

We came in on a Sunday two weeks after the opening of Okinawa Asian cuisine. Our arrival time was at 6:20ish. All of the booths were filled, but there was still tables available. We were greeted instantly by the hostess/manager. I believe it was the still the soft opening phases, but I'm not too sure. It was me and my guest for a party of two. Our starvation levels were at an all time high that day, so we were going to order basically everything. We put in our food order around 6:30. Miso soup and mushroom soup were delivered about two minutes later. After that, we waited a grand total of 40 minutes before our server came back and told us some details. Apparently, the sushi kitchen was a backed up from all of the sushi. I'm sure they ran out of some of the sashimi because when we got ours, you can taste the and feel the ice on it.Kudos to our server for coming back and being transparent with us. I respect that a lot and just letting us know what was going on. Basically, the sushi station was backed up, but everything else wasnormal. I kind of wished that the manager would have told us the situation because we didn't see anyone for 40 mins. Now, to the food.Ahi tuna tower. I highly recommend this appetizer. It tastes really fresh and the flavors are there. Not too much sauce/rice and it has a refreshing taste to it. Portions are perfectFried gyoza came out nice and fresh. It tastes like an eggroll inside. Sauce is good, but it tastes like it was watered down?Katsu chicken came out hot and crispy. It's a pretty good appetizer to start off with. They give you a solid 5 piecesI usually don't use soy sauce (which they have a less sodium version on the table), but the salmon lover roll needed it. It definitely needed a sauce. It's an okay roll, don't think I would recommend. The spring time roll was pretty nice and flavorful. The protein and rice portion were balanced pretty well. Not too much rice with the rolls is a win for me.Now, on to the sashimi. We got tuna, salmon, white tuna, eel, octopus, surf clam, and pepper tuna. Overall, the sashimi was decent. Nothing too crazy about it. I will say that I believe they ran out of the defrosted sushi early, because our salmon not only was ice cold, it definitely was still slightly frozen. The golden buns were really good. Definitely recommend getting those for dessert versus the desserts at the bar. The ones are the bar remind me of something you can get Asian buffet.Overall, I believe Okinawa Asian cuisine definitely has some kinks to workout, and I would definitely give them a second chance after a month or two. I can tell they were swamped. At the end of our meal, the manager stated that they had a couple of call outs, so I understand. They were still on their soft opening, and she apologized for the service and thanked us for our patience.I will come back and give another review. It was just an off dayTuna tower, golden buns, and the eel sashimi was the best.

This is my new favorite spot.. if you have been to Japan House, I like this place better.. the quality top tier, just wish they had green muscles on the menu. The service was outstanding. The inside is modern, classy and clean.

We have found our new sushi place! Everything is made fresh to order and in small servings. It was my first time there so we sampled quite a bit. Everything was delicious and fresh. The cocktails were great and the beer was cold. Service was A+, can't wait to go back.

Really great price for all you can eat! It was only $20 for lunch during weekday and so worth it. I had a variety of different sushi rolls and all of them were good. What I enjoyed the most were the salmon sunrise and tuna breeze. It comes with cucumber. The cucumber was bitter on certain dish, so they might need to get better ones. The dinner price came with sashimi so I didn't get to try any, but the fishes we had were good. Our service was good too and food came fast! Highly recommend to bring your family here where everyone can eat what they want with fast service. The dessert bar is the typical buffet desserts.

The sushi is fresh, creative and tasty. It is fun to try different things every time. I had a mackerel sashimi with Okinawa noodles and a Green Peace roll, very enjoyable. The restaurant is spacious and relaxing. Service attentive, quick and mannerly.
