Texas BBQ in the homeland of BBQParking: Easy! Lots of space as it is in a strip mall of sorts Drinks: Went for lunch and we had lemonade. Was quite good! Food: sooooo many options. We had wagyu brisket, regular brisket, sausage, Mac and cheese, collared greens, Brussels sprouts, pork ribs and French fries. Yes...a feast at lunch! Everything tasted delicious. I felt my wagyu was a bit too fatty but everyone else loved it. The Mac and cheese was AMAZING!!! I also appreciated that they served the Brussel sprouts without bacon. They also had beef ribs available for those who don't eat pork. Service: one of the guys behind the serving area seemed to be annoyed we had so many questions. We aren't from Texas and were just visiting so would have liked him to be a bit more understanding. The rest of the folks were super nice so we quickly forgot about the grumpy cat. Atmosphere/vibe: went for lunch. It was fairly empty but that was just fine with us! Age group: I'd imagine all! Bathroom: worked and was clean so A+ from me!Return: sure!

I've been to just about every DFW bbq restaurant and this is by far the BEST BBQ place. The brisket was tender!! It's prime meat or wagyu which makes a tremendous difference in comparison to choice or select quality of meat. The brisket was tender, juice and perfection. Same with the chicken. 10 out of 10. Excellent work! When you walk in to the restaurant, you order your food and they serve you. Then you take your plate and sit wherever. They do not have servers so you are responsible to take your dirty tray and put it up which is great. The atmosphere is great for large parties and the outdoor patio is also nice during warm weather days. We also got the pecan pie, definitely homemade and that was also exceptional! I highly recommend this BBQ restaurant you won't be disappointed!

Okay so I've eaten here twice and have no idea how I haven't reviewed yet. This place is a) delicious and b) has such large portions good luck thinking you'll not leave with a doggie bag. I had a buddy recommend this place to me but bbq is so hit or miss. These guys and gals are all hot. No miss. I've had a three meat plate (brisket, sausage, turkey) and the governor sandwich with ribs on the side. The meat? The moist brisket you almost need to eat with a spoon it's so tender. The ribs have the right amount of snap and tenderness with incredible oak flavor. The turkey, was good but there was so much I don't know what family they thought I was feeding but yeah. They have two sauces. The more orange one and the darker red one. My taste buds gravitated to the darker one. Was perfect on my sandwich. Not that the other was bad, just wasn't doing it for me. Their sides are incredible. Even the zucchini. Honestly a great experience both times. Will be back.

Dinner with babe. Ordered the smoked wings & one bacon wrapped jalapeno popper. Wings... tough & dryPopper... it wasn't deseeded which made it difficult to enjoy. As the bacon or bbq sauce had an excessive amount of black pepper. I've had better bbq for sure, I'll leave this to the folks who live uptown.

Shopping in the area and wanted to grab BBQ with a friend from out of town so she could try Texas brisket. This place was conveniently close by, so we gave it a try. Overall, it was okay! Nothing bad, but nothing extraordinary. The meats were decent, the sides were alright, and the variety of pickles and onions were nice. Price point is fair.QUICK FACTS:- Parking? Yes, ample parking in the shopping center lot (and more behind the restaurant).- Reservations? No, this is a casual BBQ joint. Walk in and order!- Patio seating? Yes, indoor and outdoor seating is available.FOOD RATINGS:- Brisket (4/5): Brisket met our Texas BBQ standards. We ordered regular, so it was pretty fatty, but very juicy and fall apart in your mouth. - Brisket burnt ends (3/5): These were a little too burnt for my taste. Very dry. Had to smother them in BBQ sauce. They would be nicer tossed in sauce.- Jalapeño cheddar sausage (3/5): Decent sausage. Not the best I've had but not bad. Okay flavor.- Mac'n'cheese (4/5): Good mac. Better flavor than most joints. Creamy and cheesy!- Collard greens (3/5): These looked like the best option from the hot side veggies. They were just okay. Could use some more flavor.Loved that they offered pickled onions and raw onions, as well as 3 types of fresh pickles: sweet (my favorite), classic dill, or spicy. We gave all 3 a try!

There is a night and day difference between the Greenville location and the Addison location. I am giving the Greenville location a low 5. The other location serves overcooked and dry food. Greenville does much better, but sometimes it may be a bit dry. The big difference is the people. The Greenville location made us feel welcome and provided great service. The other location has gotten worse and worse in that regard. This may not be the best BBQ in Texas, but it is usually more than good enough for my group, and I get few complaints.

Place is nice. Plenty of sitting inside and outside. I'm quite bit disappointed at the ribs and chicken Very very dry. They're wagyu brisket sandwich, now that lives up to It's name. Otherwise mediocre, I've had better.Service OK, gentlemen cutting the meats at least the one that attended us seemed to be having a bad day. Not very friendly.
