Cuisine Selection:I definitely recommend the Steak Oscar here. We have a monthly wine tasting (The Eclectic Society) event here. The fine selection of steak topped with crab was delicious. They also have many other great dishes here. Wine Pairing: This petite wet steak cuisine was moist, flavorful and moderately seasoned. The cuisine paired well with Autumn Haiku, a TX/CA dry red blend with mostly Petit Verdot. The moderate tannins went well with the medium well grilled steak. The service and ambience were also excellent, warm, professional, and personable. This restaurant continues with an eclectic approach from New and Old World features. My late husband and I discovered Nova on the way to The Kessler Theater almost 10 years ago. My daughter and I go back when we are in the area; definitely worth the drive for me.We went on a Sunday early afternoon recently, there was live music; however, people were talking loudly. It appeared that put server was being shadowed by a new employee service was excellent!! Our mimosas were tasty as were the eggs with biscuits and gravy but the french toast casserole was out of this world delicious!! Parking lot is small; some street parking is available. A few tables outside, a small bar inside, booths lined the windows and tables fill in between. There's an additional room that is sometimes used for large groups or overflow seating.

I had the smoked salmon salad, it was excellent! Their espresso martinis are amazing! And our service was top notch, our server was awesome and super friendly! Highly recommend!

Amazing brunch spot, my mom and I go every now and then. We had the biscuits and gravy and the French Toast Casserole, both were very tasty. We also had mimosas, they had a good OJ to champagne ratio. The place is a little small so it was a little load, but there was live music when we were there. Our server was friendly and attentive.

I had a very good experience at Nova, the service at bar was excellent i ordered a Nova 75 (French 75) it was delicious i was afraid the champagne would take over the drink but just the right amount was added. I'd definitely recommend the seafood empanada I've never had anything like that before. The Nova salad was great too but a little shy on the olives but still can't go wrong ordering it. I ordered the fettuccine pasta with peppers, sadly i had to send it back. It was FULL of flavors from the different ingredients but lacking salt/seasoning to hold it together and maybe get it without the carrots because it made the dish a 3/10. Lastly, the Crumble with ice cream on top was 10/10 so order that before you go.

I wished I had gone to this place 5 years ago when it was highly recommended! Scottish owner is amazing unlike any hospitality you will ever experience in Dallas. Not only that but I ordered the Italian special and hands down it was the best home made pasta and seafood I have ever had in Dallas. Very busy on a Sunday night which does not surprise me! I will be telling everyone and coming back for more as soon as I can. Thank you so much it was what my mental health needed this evening! These pics do not do the food justice!

Nova, the neighborhood bar for Bishop Arts, is top-notch! If you haven't visited yet, you're missing out. This bar is the go-to spot for locals who enjoy its friendly and inviting atmosphere.Nova's full menu is available until midnight, and they offer a late-night menu until around 1 am. If you come hungry, you won't go home hungry! I recently tried their new menu and was blown away by the Caribbean Jerk Shrimp Salad. I added Scottish salmon to mine, creating a meal so delightful it made me skip all the way home.Another standout is the ribeye paired with a crab cake. The crab cake, made with bell peppers, is unique and pairs wonderfully with the steak.Whether you're looking for a great dive bar, a place to meet new friends, or a spot to grab a bite to eat, I highly recommend visiting Nova.

An Oak Cliff staple. Service is always good with food and cocktails to top it off. Brunch is always fun as well with live music.

I absolutely love this place for drinks & snacking! The ambiance is very modern diner style type of feeling but can get crowded VERY quickly. The Mac & Cheese was delicious but I could have definitely gone without the hot sauce they put on it. It tasted very out of place. It was also very soupy like compared to most Mac & cheeses I know. But was very tasty! The frog legs, TRY THE FROG LEGS!! They are my favorite thing out of their whole menu. A tasty tasty experience. Everything I think of this place, my mind automatically goes to their frog legs. If this was a main dish I would get it every time! The seared duck wasn't too impressive. I felt like the plate was more of a Brussels sprouts & bacon dish because there was so much of it. The duck was tasty just wish there was more of it, especially for the price.

I spent New Year's Eve at Nova. I had the meat pizza and Autumn Haiku. The food and service were excellent. The atmosphere was chill. It was a nice mix of people hanging out ringing in the new year with good music in a casual environment. I would definitely go back!
