The bestest of beef-is in your lips-if you eat-this.Nicky's beef is the bestest, and is an OG from Texas. You get a real small burger box feel when you eat at Nicky D's. The staff is friendly and the food is amazing. If you like that traditional American burger stand feel, then this place is the spot. Craving a burger while in the Crowley area and Yelp helped me find Nicky's D; a delicious local burger spot that did not disappoint. All the burgers are made to order, half pound patties with lettuce, tomato, pickle and onions served on the side. I had a cheese burger with American cheese and it was 10/10. Classic, fresh, perfectly seasoned and cooked. My friend had the Bubba, which included bacon, grilled onions and avocado- Yummy! The fries and onion rings are also fried to perfection, not greasy, and good flavor.I was impressed with the service, and friendly, welcoming atmosphere. They make everything to order and they keep the service efficient and there's lots of seating in and outdoors. Perfect for and any size group.

This is a typical diner, nothing fancy but has plenty of seating. The service counter is right at the door, which is they are busy could be a little troublesome. The lady behind the counter took our order and was very helpful and friendly. We ordered a cheeseburger, stuffed burger, and a large onion ring. My cheeseburger was delicious, cooked perfectly, all the veggies come on the side and the sauces are at the table to put on your burger. My husband's burger was a little undercooked, but stuffed to the brim with grilled onions and jalapeño. He ended up having to ask for a fork and knife to finish it. The onion rings were nothing too special, but the portion was definitely large enough to share. Overall, it was a good meal and we will return for another meal.

Wonderful staff. Quick service. Was our first time so they were very helpful . Not fancy but clean. Extra picnic tables outside. Excellent food . I tried the cheese steak sandwich and husband got a double bacon cheeseburger. We had a tough time finishing them. Definitely will go back to try more of the menu.
