New Orleans Crab Shack

The location is perfect, very easy to find parking. I love that the TVs are showing sports, while music plays softly in the background. The crawfish was awesome. My only disappointment is that "Hot" was not even close to being mild. I did love the "all in one seasoning", but hot is supposed to be hot. It should force me to drink and want more drinks or milk. Now my son got fire, my hot was hotter than his fire. So New Orleans Crab Shack--turn up the heat. The food is good, but the spice matters too.Service was awesome, a little wait on ordering at the counter, but after that it was ok. Another suggestion, when you clean the tables just go ahead and put paper down--it's crawfish season, and seafood boil is your staple.

One young man working. No poboy bread so no poboys. Fried shrimp were over fried. Boiled crawfish were small and ok.No return for us.

I absolutely love this place for seafood. Service is excellent especially on a slow day. I don't know if the old saying is true about not going to seafood place on Monday, but I'm pretty sure this place is safe.

The PoBoy wasn't good as the reviews I read however service was great and a very clean laid back spot but not for me I'd prefer a shrimp Poboy from Popeyes

We've order from here twice, both times to go. The food is delicious. We got the B3 in the house special and fries. It's the perfect amount of food for two people, maybe a little too much. We usually have some sausage and shrimp left over. The inside is similar to any other hole in the wall type place. The tables can be covered if you eat inside. It wasn't busy at all the times we've been inside to order and leave. The people were nice, nothing overly friendly about them to be honest, but we prefer that type of service. It's very efficient.

I woke up today deciding to have lunch at a black owned business that I hadn't tried before. Definitely not one for cleanliness. How are bathroom and dining trash cans full when you first open? The window sills are filthy and sticky. Floor needs to be swept. Plentiful menu and convenient location, but they can do much better on cleanliness. The food was not so great either. Fish didn't have any seasoning and I couldn't finish it. The fries were the best part next to the pickles. Not on my list of recommendations

Crabs legs are one of my top 3 fav foods. This place did not disappoint. The flavor is balanced with savory, spice, and mild sweetness. I like that the sauce does not have that oil base. The sauce is so flavorful. I got the spicy sauce with all of the flavors. The hush puppies have little pieces of corn. They are delightful little nuggets of goodness. I look forward to coming back. I don't mind the 25 minute drive.

I've tried their shrimp poboy, boiled shrimp and crawfish-pretty good and I grew up in Louisiana..nice cold drinks and friendly owner snd staff..very casual.

We are from the New Orleans area and since we moved here it's been a little tough finding something more authentic but it stops here if you want good seasoned seafood. We had seafood baskets the shrimp fish and oysters were fried and seasoned to perfection. The boiled items were excellent just like at home. The service was great they are very friendly and we were very excited to find out that the owner was from our area back home. The vibe in the restaurant was very good good music and even local New Orleans beverages can't get any better we will be regulars!!!

Had soft shell crab and boiled shrimp. Good food, good service, and easy access to seating.
