Mr T Real Catfish And Burgers

That's some good catfish. Now I know real authentic catfish when I taste it and the name speaks for itself. Located inside a gas station, but don't let this intimidate you, Mr T has some finger licking catfish baskets. I ordered the 2 piece and they made it fresh which took about 10 minutes with no line. Fries and catfish were seasoned to perfection and not over or under seasoned at all like other places. The pieces were a good size and I like the toast that was buttery too. Includes a small bag of pickles and jalapeños to make this a complete and tasty meal. Ketchup is included but didn't see a napkin. I can definitely see myself coming back for more .

I must say I was disappointed with my 2 piece catfish filets. I feel like I received 1 catfish cut in two strips. My last experience was good. I had 2 nice size catfish fillets. They were nice sized. I ate on them 2 days. I work up the street at the school. I won't return unless I see someone else's plate. I normally order during lunch but I ordered after school this time. I won't be returning anytime soom and I hate that. The fish strip was seasoned good.

This lil place is tucked inside of a gas station. It's a tad on the pricey side but worth it! I spent about $170 to feed 8 and got the catfish, wings, fries, okra, and a burger. Everything was seasoned well! Will definitely come back when on this side of town. They tore into the food so I don't get a pic. Sorry.

Very mediocre! I'm disappointed because I wanted to like it. After a few bites the catfish had that dirty fish taste like it hadn't been cleaned properly or possibly just old and needed to be thrown out. The fries were good but basic. The burger had potential -- the patty was good but the bun was burnt to a crisp and full of cheap mayonnaise. The onion rings were gummy. I will say they were at least nice and hospitable but the food isn't good to me.

pretty good burger definitely hit the spot. there's not much seating inside. 3.5 stars rounding up to 4.

Best fish in Dallas!! It's real catfish, which is a PLUS! They also have Soul Food Sunday every Sunday. Fish was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Can't wait to go back again to try the burger!

Everything was over cooked and over seasoned. We got the wings, tenders, and bruger and we didn't enjoy any of it. Felt like I was eating cafeteria food. Just not good at all. Will not be back

I wish more restaurants made chicken the way they do, it taste real, it's full, it's filling and it's delicious. I KILLED my chicken sandwich-no breaks! The wings were good. Amazing service, very polite and kind. Gospel music in the background was nice. And I LOVE that they offer cool-aid! So cool! I will definitely come back when I'm craving a good chicken sandwich. They definitely know what they're doing here! Thank you guys! Stay blessed!

The food is very good! I got the catfish and fries and they did not disappoint. The service was fast and everyone was friendly. I will be returning! New favorite place to get authentic catfish!!
