That's not an eaten slice. That was a missing slice, which means someone took one out before taping the box shut.

First time here. We each got our own pizza and each in a different size. Basic pepperoni was loaded with meat and cheese! I ordered a build your own with mushroom, onion and sliced tomatoes. Another was a build your own with pepperoni, black olives and mushroom. It was loaded with meat and veggies. When it came to the table, mine came out with the pizza and no tomatoes, then they brought out a place with sliced tomatoes. I said, I thought these would be cooked on the pizza...nope, got them on the side. Weird. Anyway, flavor was good but weird about the tomatoes. I paid extra to have them on the pizza, not cold on the side!Cashier and staff very nice. Place is clean and nice TVs to watch.

The only consistency to be found at Mountain Mike's are the recurring themes to be found in the negative reviews. The positive reviews look astroturfed in comparison. Or they have low standards.I got ripped off for the almost $40 I spent. The small pizza was $15 and I had specified Italian sausage (which I had to pay extra for), and they added such a tiny amount that I thought I had accidentally been given a cheese pizza. And to add insult to injury, I noticed the slices were placed weird so I lined them up properly, and there was clearly a slice missing (see attached picture). And they tape the boxes shut with a sticker, so I only saw this boondoggling once I got home. Considering it was $39 and change, this an experience bordering on being State Fair bamboozlement. Also, saying something is "14 slices" is a tricky way of making a pizza seem bigger than it is (it worked on me, obviously). These are 14 slices if the slices were for a kindergarten teacher trying to pay for their kids pizza party straight out of their personal budget. Mountain Mike's "large" pizza is an 8-slice pizza at best. Edit in response to the business owner reply: why would I want to spend more money after how this last experience went?Edit again: As requested by the business owner on this Yelp page, I submitted a follow-up on their website. Any guesses on whether they responded? The service recovery is about as good as their poorly made pizzas.

Came for the buffet. Very nice salad bar and selection of pizza. So much better than CIci's. Very clean. Great variety of dressings and goodies on the salad bar and nice selection of pizza options. The buffet is a great option and includes your drink .

I was really looking forward to trying Mountain Mike's, especially with it being new in town. But I have to say, my first experience left a bad taste in my mouth--not from the food, but from how the business is handling customer orders. When I called to place an order for pickup, I was simply told, "We can't take any more orders right now." I get it; being busy is a good thing, and as a new place, they're probably working out some kinks. But instead of just saying "no," why not tell me there's a wait time? I'd happily decide if I'm willing to wait. But instead, I was just turned away. When I asked if delivery was an option, the answer was the same: no, they were too busy to even take my order. As a customer, I find it crazy to be told I can't even order for pickup. I wasn't asking for delivery or anything extra--just the chance to try their food! I'd appreciate it if Mountain Mike's reached out to me to make this right. First impressions matter, especially when you're new in town.

Should've read the reviews first. Pointless to order online as they didn't start making the pizza until we arrived to pickup after 30 mins. Then it miraculously only took 15 mins to make. Pizza is sloppy and rushed for no reason as most of the kitchen staff was just standing around looking at their phones. Long beards and hair hanging from hats. Manager sitting around the corner watching tv should start managing. This will probably be another addition to the many failed small restaurants in Waxahachie. Better to stick with your favorite big chain Pizza shop and get extremely way more food for the price.

When you charge just over $41 for a 20", two topping pizza and two sodas, the expectation bar gets set very high and Mountain Mike's didn't get off the ground. The pizza itself was pretty awful; NO better than most delivery pizza. We ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza and we're so disappointed I don't know where to begin. The only positive thing I can say was there was a reasonable amount of pepperoni but they were mini pepperoni and the mushrooms weren't sliced, they were shaved, ( literally no thicker than your fingernails ) and not many of them. The amount of sauce and cheese was also pitiful; all this contributed to a fairly tasteless pizza. The biggest insult to the pizza is that they slice it into tiny slivers; you expect 8 slices per pizza, but they slice it into 24 slivers that 4 slices add up to a "normal" slice. The sodas were equally disappointing because they had very little flavor and needing the amount of syrup to be adjusted. Please folks, don't keep this place in business, awful is not strong enough of an adjective. For $41+. we could have had a nice sit down meal anywhere in Waxahachie. I would give it zero stars but it wouldn't let me do it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!

It was our families first time having MMP. We dined in and enjoyed the cleanliness of the business. The staff was also extra accommodating. The pizza's crust/dough were great as were the amazing toppings. We didn't try the salad bar, but we were impressed by all of the offerings available.
